Hi, I was having sex with my new girl friend.. I was wearing condom during our intercourse . After few min's into our intercourse my girl friend has a period and blood started coming from her vagina. the blood was on my condom .. I quickly removed it... Now i am worried if i am at risk to be exposed to HIV/AIDS or any other STD?
Please let me know ..what are my risks?
I'm asking this for a friend. She's 15, and is having problems with her period. 2 years ago she met a guy and they started having sex almost weekly for 1-2 years, not using any kind of birth control, and not pulling out during ejaculation. She hasn't had any signs of pregnancy since that point. Since January of last month, her periods have stopped, until today. She is going to the hospital for blood tests soon, but, they don't even know that she's had sex like that before.
Things got kind of boring so I started touching her genital area, but from outside the cloth (rubbing my hand through ang against her jeans in the vaginal area). The day this happened she was on her period, she told me it was her 3rd day of period; also she has irregular period, mostly for stress.
The problem is that I dont remember if i had semen on my hand, if they where, could she get pregnant by that?
The window period is brief, so probably her HIV test would be positive if she were in the window period when you had sex with her. But don't lean on her hard; if she is confident she doesn't have HIV, you can also be confident about it.
Feel free to return with a comment to tell me your HIV test results. While you're at it, have a urine test for chlamydia and gonorrhea. You can expect negative results on all of them.
Though thus of her taking these BC pills she has been spotting irregularly sometime around a week before her period starts thus started her period until Wednesday (April 25th) her first sign of real bleeding.
I arrived home to surprise visit her at 1:30am on Saturday April 27th and we had unprotected sex ( I withdrew) and again later that early morning around 8am( I ejaculated inside of her).

We had vaginal intercourse during her period and while I did wear a condom (most of the time), a lot of her blood got on the upper shaft of my penis as well as my pubic area where I have a few red pimples/sores (not STDs)
I used condoms several times and we did have one episode (5 mins) of unprotected vaginal sex.
I will definitely get tested, but I am going crazy thinking about my stupidity.
What are the risks?
I'm kinda concerned, as I had Oral Sex and found that the girl was on her period (I got blood on my mouth).
I Have no Idea if she has the virus or not, but still i'm really worried.
Are the odds really bad in my situation?

While having sex i penetrated my girl friend without a condom. I realized it after a couple of strokes and then immediately put on the condom. We were scared that she might get pregnant due to precum. So she took a contraceptive pill (I-pill) within 48 hours. This is the first time she ever took a contraceptive pill. We had sex again a week after and used protection. The next day she started bleeding heavily accompanied by mild abdominal pain.
It could be break through bleeding and that could have to do with your irregular cycles. It may take your body awhile to adjust to being off the pill.
The best thing to do is see your Gynecologist to find out what's going on. Bleeding during sex is'nt normal. It could be what I mentioned above or something else. Or you having any other symptoms? Itching or discharge that's not normal?
See your Gyno and they will be able to tell you for sure what's going on. Take care.
She should take a home pregnancy test as a first measure (be sure to follow all instructions exactly for accuracy). Find one that can be used as soon as you miss a period. After that, if it comes out positive, you can examine your options. If it's negative, you can wait and see if her period comes next month, or go to a doctor if you're worried or she starts having pregnancy symptoms.
Hello, I have had unprotected sex with my partner while she was on her period. Since then I have had an itching sensation all along my urethra, also some slight discharge which is clear/white in colour. Is it possible that i got this infection from having intercourse while my partner was on her period? I went to the doctor and gave a urine sample which didnt seem to turn up anything strange. I was prescribed a heavy one day dose of anti-biotics and was told it would clear it up. It hasnt.
It is very normal.. One, sex right after having your period can cause you to bleed again (for me normally two more days of very light bleeding) because of contractions causing pressure in the utres. The human body is designed for body to body contact. If the man is long he can hit the back of your cervix causing impact on the veins that could bleed after sex. The thicker the man, obviously causes streching that will cause bleeding.
