I’ve now started what seems to be a heavy period, not a lot of cramps or pain but plenty of blood. I realise this is a very strong indication I’m having an early miscarraige, I was just wondering if anybody has had this and it not be a miscarriage and the pregnancy still carry on? And also how long I should wait before taking another test? Me and my partner have been so excited and I just feel awful. Thank you in advance.
Its most likely implantation bleeding, but if you're really worried call or go to your doctor.

Well 6 weeks after my miscarriage I got pregnant again... about a week after my positive I started bleeding worse than a period with clots and it was bright red. I was told that I was have another miscarriage. However my situation was the same as mary345 and I too had a subchorionic hematoma which was causing the bleeding (and cramping since my body was trying to get rid of the clots) my daughter will be 4 months old next month and she is as healthy as can be.
Yes. Fetus can stop growing without woman knowing and It can take a while for a woman's body to realise it and start bleeding.
Bleeding with clots is not a good sign, imo. It doesn't absolutely mean miscarriage, but I would be concerned. Were you able to leave a voice message for your doctor? If it is a miscarriage, there isn't anything anyone can do, unfortunately. I'd suggest that if the bleeding becomes really heavy, like you are filling a pad in an hour, then you need to go back to the er. I'm sorry you're going thru this and just wish you could speak with your doctor.
I went poly on 27 Oct 10 and was confirm preg est 5 week. On 29 Oct at abt 5.30am, I had bleeding ( like menses). At abt 12 noon. I went to NUH A&E. The doc did scanning and confirm I am 5 wk 1 day preg and said that my pregnancy is still safe but the sac was at a very low position. I was given a jab and was allowed to go home after 1 hr observation. At abt 8pm when i was about to chage my pad, there was a lot of blood on my pad and there was like a sliced of skin.
Yesterday i started having cramps that would come and go. Then i had a very very light bleeding. About an hour in a half the bleeding stopped. So i really didnt pay it no mind. This morning i woke up and i had dark brownish discharge and bad cramps that come and go. I am so worried. Is this normal or is it a miscarriage. Please help me.
Women don't know when they have a missed miscarriage. That's when the baby doesn't make it but your body doesn't realize it. Usually a d&c is given when there is a missed miscarriage. Though even without a d&c the fetus should pass on it's own once the body realizes what's going on.
However, if you feel like your doctor was wrong, you can always seek a second opinion.
I had a miscarriage when I was about 6 weeks too, bled for a week, then had intercourse and got pregnant again.. im now 8 weeks pregnant and everything is good so far. Your body was cleaning itself through bleeding, it probably temporarily stopped but when you had sex it rushed more blood down.. unless bleeding doesn't stop after a week, you should be fine..
You could have had a miscarriage or you could be having a heavy period. I once had a really light period and the next one was not very pleasnt for me. I guess my body had not gotten rid of everything. It sounds like heavey periods are not normal for you, so I would suggest calling the doctor and making an appointment. The best way to get rid of your fear is to arm yourself with knowledge. Consult the doctor.

Though nobody on the Internet can tell you if you did or did not miscarry, as she said, it is possible to have a miscarriage without a great deal of bleeding, especially in the very early stages of pregnancy.
The first day of my last period was on the 22nd of July 2010.. I did an hpt on the 23rd of August and did one more the next day. Both results were positive. I went to see my doctor and did blood tests which confirmed i was pregnant and hcg was 964. I had cramps and abdominal pain on the 26th of August then on that night i bled, it wasn't heavy but was just like a normal period. I went to the ER and they did a sonar and more bloods.
hi everyone, im currently 10 week pregnant and started bleeding light 2 days ago, at first i could only see it when i wiped, but it got a bit heavier with 3 little clots, it has eased off again now just very light red blood, i went to ER and they told me they couldnt do antyhing except book me into early pregnancy unit but my appointment is 3 days away, im still no clearer as to if im having a miscarriage its really upsetting has any one else experienced this through pregnancy that could give me
re system for up to 1wk after miscarriage. I had a miscarriage before and know what its like, and the bleeding was much heavier then and i lost clots. But i really worried i dont want to lose this one, i really wanted another baby. The bleeding has slowed down and the cramps have gone. I have a scn tomorrow so fingers crossed everyone. Im praying its all good news i really do, dont think i could handle anothert miscarriage.
