Avatar n tn s two hard lumps under my gums on both sides of my mouth, both are 4 teeth from the centre. The one on my right is almost twice the size as the one on the left. Both look white under the gums. I'm between dentists and am now looking for one. Is what I've described normal and I've just not noticed before or something else? The one on the right from a lamens point of view seems like a tooth.
Avatar f tn I'm 26 and last nite felt a hard marble sized lump under my chin near my jaw. It hurts to touch and I can move it. I've had quite a bad cough this week so not sure if its because of that. Should I b worried?

Avatar m tn I have two elongated lumps under my neck, on the inside of each sternocleidomastoid muscle, starting from the angle of my jaw mandible and extending downwards, about an inch and a half. Possible the carotid sinus area? (I'm trying to describe them through anatomy photos attained from google images). They are both about the same size but very large, although they are hard to see. They are moveable and when I feel them I can feel my heart beat quite prominently.
Avatar n tn They are both very hard and immovable. the lump under my jaw at first was rather swollen and I could feel it when I swallowed (three weeks ago or so) that however has stopped and I can no longer feel it when swallowing. it is however still there when I feel under my jaw. its hard and fixed. the one behind my left ear is also hard and fixed in place. both are painless, and I have no symptoms. (nausea/fever/sweating etc...
Avatar m tn The lump is hard, moveable and painless, when i put my chin down I can move it around under my jaw, I can also do this on the right but the lump is much smaller. I'm worried it's gotten bigger as this is the first time I've noticed my actual neck feel bigger rather than just under my jaw (although i may just not have noticed).
Avatar m tn I found a dime size painless lump under my jaw line on the right side. I have allergies to air irritants but I am not currently suffering from the symptoms and I don't have a cold. The left side has no lumps. Please help. (although no blood relation i just had a family member diagnosed with cancer in the same area) So I am very worried. Please Help.
Avatar n tn I have no clue where to put this, but I need help. I'm a 19 year old female, I haven't had any medical problems except a couple years ago I had gallstones and had my gallbladder removed. Quite a while ago I discovered a small lump on my neck, the lump cannot be seen, it can only be felt, it does not hurt, and it's maybe the size of a BB.

Avatar m tn The title of your post is "lumps under the jaw line," but you don't really explain that, so I'm afraid I'm a little confused. I'm also a bit confused about the time line. You said you HAD been feeling dizzy and weak for about 4 months, you went to your doctor who decided you were depressed and "could" have acne. Did he send you to a dermatologist? This doctor would have ruled out your cancer and virus fears. Are you still on the antidepressants?
Avatar f tn I have had some of the same issues, swollen lymph nodes under my Jaw, ear and and near my temple the doctor had put me on antibiotics and they all went down, I had it another time but it was swollen on my forhead and down the side by my temple and ear and jaw once more but it looked like I had a scab just above my hairline where it was red and getting bigger so he perscribed antibiotic cream and it went away. He never told me what it was. Is this all happening on one side of your body?
Avatar n tn My mother is having a similar issue. I too think your "bumps" might be "Tori." I found a great website that was extremely informative. It is www.doctorspiller.com look under "sores, lumps & bumps." You might not have found info under Tori because the med name is: Torus Mandibularis. Hope this helps...until I found this website, I was a bit freaked out when my mother asked me to look into her mouth!
Avatar f tn I think I know what you are talking about. I too have lumps, just under the ear behind my jaw bone. It was always a very tender spot for me on each side. I noticed the left side bump was way larger than the other side. And the left side would often give me sharp random pains now and then. I asked many doctor's what could be here causing this? No one could really answer my question with confidence.
Avatar n tn first around the shot on the arm than under the armpit the size of a soft ball/ really than to her jaw/ the size of three softballs / chipmonk full of seeds. than her legs now back to her jaw. make sure the doctors check and if you don't get results find another until they listen and work for you.
Avatar n tn I had unprotected sex about a month ago and now i have a 2 very hard lumps under the skin and on the under side of my penis. They popped up over night and have not seem to do anything this last week. They only bother me because i keep checking them, and i dont have any other symptoms. Everything else is completely normal. what could this be ?? thanks.
Avatar m tn I have two very small lumps under the floor of my lower jaw. They are just under the soft floor in front of the tounge and seem to be attatched to the gum/bone under my two front lower teeth. However I cannot see them as they are under the floor of my mouth, so I have only been able to feel them. What could this be? could it be dangerouse?
Avatar m tn They take around 24-48 hr to full come up they take about 1-2 weeks to go down leaving a small hard lump under the skin for many more weeks. The red skin which developes on the lump sheds off as dead skin. I have been perscribed endless antibiotics and am currently taking accutane for 16weeks 40mg a day, but nothing seems to be helping. I am wonder what the other options may be? Could it be an allergy or viral?
Avatar f tn Yes, same thing in both sides of her neck at the base of her jaw (lymph nodes?) I'm guessing she's got quite an infection going on...

Avatar f tn I have noticed two large lymph nodes. one directly under my right jaw...it feels big, like half the size of my thumb. The other is directly under my right collar bone (infraclavicular), The collarbone one is smaller, maybe the size of a large peanut. Both are moveable. The trouble is, I have no idea what it means when i hear "rubbery" vs "hard". I can't really tell the difference, to be honest. I have an appointment with my Dr, but not for another week.
