I had a gum infection about a month ago and the dentist put me on antibiotics and i took the full course. I thought that had got rid of the infection because i didn't have the vile taste in my mouth that i had.
I worrying today because i can taste the taste i had when i had the infection. The other day i kissed and was intimate with a man and i thought it had cleared so i didn't worry about the infection that day.
I see the rubber tipped toothbrushes at every drug store i have been to. They are not expensive either. If you have an eckerd, rite aid, or cvs drug store near you, i know for a fact they have a variety of them. They are made by oral b, at least that is the brand i have. They work wonders.

i am going back to the gum the next time i can get away from work, but no one has been able to tell me what kind of infection this is or what kind of treatment will work. i would think it was only bv but the doctor said that it was an infection of some kind. so what kind of infection cannot be cured with all these antbiotics?
We then took two x-rays and one revealed a dark line on the gum with the embedded wisdom tooth. The Dentist said that the wisdom tooth has caused infection to two other teeths nearby. He suggested that the embedded wisdom tooth be removed through surgery as it is causing health problems. I agreed immediately. And although the surgery was quite an ordeal, the next day after the surgery, I did the lick test, the smella saliva is no longer there !! I knew that I have been cured !!
I was told months ago that I have periodontal gum disease and I've obsessively researched it saying that the inflammation in my gums can eventually run through my body and increase other health risks.. You should see a dentist, if it's that bad it's probably an infection, and will need antibiotics to clear it up if it's something that can't be fixed during pregnancy, tooth infections can cause preterm labor just the same as a vaginal infection. Orajel works for pain until you can get it taken care of though, and tylenol might help!
She has x-rayed the tooth (it had a root canal years ago) and says that the root canal is intact, and that the infection is in a pocket between the tooth and the gum. She advised increased dental hygiene in order to shift the infection, and said that there was nothing else she could do beyond extracting the tooth. Since then I have been beyond meticulous in trying to keep my teeth clean.

Ive been diagnose with anal warts, not sure how long ive had them as never have had anal sex and just noticed a few strange bumps while showering, thought Id get it checked and gum clinic said I had small number of warts, now they said due to small size could be missed espically if you werent actively looking for them, my question is what are the chances I could pass on these anal warts to my gf with unprotected vaginal sex, in sence that she wouldnt have any real contact with the anus area
Sometimes a sinus infection, gum infection, throat infection or ear infection can have an odor that you can detect transiently when you pass the person or you are the person. Vaginal odors can also sometimes be detected.
Please be aware that some people detect odors better than others. The perm smell is usually related to sulfur or ammonia products. You might also be detecting sewer gas leak if you have a cracked drain pipe some where.

I just read your comments. First of all I wouldn't push on the outside of
your gum. If you think there is a possible infection, I think I would get
yourself an appointment with your dentist as soon as possible.
Infections in the mouth can get quite serious. You should be seen by
your dentist asap, i.e. some time within the next 2 - 3 days if not sooner.

hi guys i just want to know what will happen with the result if you eat chewing gum before taking oraquick rapid hiv test does it affect the result...i have my negative result but as i was searching the internet about the accuracy of oraquick i found out that you dont have to eat or drink at least 15min before taking the test...5 min before i take the i remember eating sugar free chewing gum...does it matter???do i get the negative result because i didnt follow the direction..
