Hi. My wife just got back from Canada and bought some pills that are like Vivodene. They are Tyonol with codeine. Acetaminophen 300mg, caffine 15mg and codeine 8mg. Isn't that dose of codeine higher thatn what is a Vicodene ES of 7.5? Thank you..

Hi i can confirm that the cough syrup is robitussin chesty cough medicine that contains (guaifenesin) only.Its in a red and black box.I have never noticed my cervical mucus ever before and this was my first month on clomid.I took robitussin every morning and evening (5ml dose).You only take it after AF has ended and stop when you ovulate.I drank a glass of grapefruit juice every morning as its supposed to help CM too.

i got the meds to clear up the sinus infection which is fine and just an antibiotic but she prescribed me cough syrup with codeine to help ease the cough which is causing my ribs to just throb non stop. i have read on here addictions to codeine...i am nervous to take it but actually really need it. anyone know about this cough syrup with codeine??? am i putting myself in danger??? any advice would be helpful...i have not taken it yet.

Just writing for support and suggestions. I take 6 fioricet with codeine (30 mg) a day and I usually am pretty careful not to run out but sometimes I'm late getting my script from the doctor. I was prescribed it for migraines 5 years ago. She hasn't objected to my dosage which has been steady for several years but her nurse often holds it up and it seems like every other month I have to jump hoops to get it.

Thats an incredibly low dose of codeine......sounds a lot more like a percocet dose or something.......How long historically has this dose been going on? That might be the largest factor - - codeine is a weak narcotic......but it is a narcotic.........and time makes s difference.

Tylenol 1, in Canada, contains aceto and 8mg codeine. In Aussie, it could be 10mg. codeine. That amount, combined with simple chemistry, allows one to circumvent the aceto. Not advisable. Dig a deeper hole? Why?

as vicki said, the codeine can be stopped immediately. you can switch to the plain fioricet with no codeine and get rid of the codeine right away....then you and your doctor can figure out a taper on just the fioricet. typically these tapers last quite some time....you don't want to go too fast. switching from fiorinal #3 to just the plain will be a shock to your system and send you into opiate withdrawal. that won't be fun....then there's the taper that follows.
