Avatar f tn Hello, This itching and discharge can be due to bacterial vaginosis or trichomoniasis. Discharge in BV is thin and grey discharge with a fishy smell. Trichomoniasis is (caused by a protozoan (a kind of parasite) called Trichomonas vaginalis. This parasite is transmitted during sex.The characteristic symptom of trichomoniasis infection is a heavy, frothy, yellow-green, fishy-smelling discharge from the vagina.
Avatar f tn For the past 7 months I have been having abdominal pains, itching, increased discharge (runny and grey in color),swollen & inflammed vulva/vaginal area. Been tested for thursh, bv & several sti's all of which came back normal. I have had antibiotics for bv & numerous pills/pessarys for thrush which has no effect at all! My symptoms seem to be worse after my period & using canesten thursh cream made the itching worse.
20801702 tn?1512809397 Helloo. I'm experiencing vaginal discharge. Currently, It's yellowish, sometimes with a green undertone. The smell isn't really foul. Its has a very little amount, but it concerns me. I would check myself in front of a mirror and see that my vagina is reddish. A few months ago, the discharge is white. I noticed that it changes from time to time, and the smell was foul like cheese. I've been having this problem since I was 12. I was afraid to tell my mother what was going on.
Avatar f tn discharge whilte treating for bv is normal. Even once you are done treating, it's not uncommon to get a thick , chunky discharge that might be white or grey - it's dead bacteria making its way out of the body and it will go away in a few days. at this point, properly treat your bv and continue avoiding sex until things are back to normal down yonder.
Avatar f tn It's completely normal for women to have vaginal discharge. This is just all part of being a women, and every girl starts to see it during puberty and it will stay during your life. The only time you should be worried is if the colour changes to a yellow/grey or green colour, has a really bad smell or itches or anything...then you would need to see a doctor. But other than that it's normal.
Avatar f tn Update: There is some grey discharge, and I have looked up symptoms...thinking this is bacterial vaginosis and that my doctor misdiagnosed me as having a yeast infection...does that sound right?
Avatar m tn Lately I have been having some grey nipple discharge which has soiled all my bras. I have never seen it come out but seen the evidence of it at the end of the day. No feeling or soreness either. To what could this be related?
Avatar f tn i told her that i had grey discharge when i have sex. she told me that it sounds like a yeast infection if its clumpy and grey. i told her i think its BV she told me if i had it my partner would have it. she started asking my babys father questions like if he had grey discharge any itching he was telling her no. so she said it sounds like a yeast infection. i still have the grey discharge. i used all my monistat and i used it right and still hasn't gone away.
Avatar f tn Please help, I don’t know what to do I’m not sure if I have a vaginal infection. I was fingered by a certain someone and a couple days past, I get my period and after my period is over I get this strange smell coming from me and I check myself and a yellow stain appears and it’s terrible odor so I put a pad and the next few days the same yellow stain still appears and I can smell from just sitting down. I don’t have red itchiness or any other symptoms.
Avatar f tn A healthy vagina produces secretions to cleanse and regulate itself, similar to how saliva cleanses and regulates the environment of the mouth. These vaginal secretions are normal vaginal discharge. Any interference with the delicate balance of vaginal secretions sets up an environment conducive to infection. Normal Vaginal Discharge - All women have some vaginal discharge. Normal discharge may appear clear, cloudy white, and/or yellowish when dry on clothing.
Avatar n tn It may be worth mentioning that I noticed some greyish-white vaginal discharge a few days ago that I am fairly sure was bacterial vaginosis. I used a product called RepHresh vaginal gel to try rebalance my vaginal pH. What is the best way to prevent the cyst from turning into an abcess? Is it safe to engage in sexual activity at this point? Thanks so much.
Avatar f tn They bleed a little bit but not enough to be fully noticeable. I’ve also experienced grey cloudy sticky discharge and maybe sometimes brown sticky discharge. I got tested for most stds including herpes and they are all negative. What else could this be please help.
Avatar f tn I never had any liquid actually leaking out of my penis but at the opening its kind of a clear liquid just in the tip and is only noticeable if i actually look at my opening. The doctor said that if it was discharge i would definantly notice it and that it would be thick, green or grey, and a little painful. Am i overthinking or could this be a mild discharge?
Avatar f tn Bacterial vaginosis is much more common for producing a foul odor. Discharge with BV is thin, watery and grey and the smell is a tell tale sign Antibiotics clear it up. She could have a yeast infection along with the BV and that is often accompanied by bad itching though and also thicker and clumpy discharge. She could have both. Women also get dead skin and whatnot trapped in the folds of their genital area.
Avatar f tn I have been extremely concerned with the burning sensation I get at night in my urethra, at the tip of my penis. This morning I noticed a light grey watery discharge from my penis it was very little. What are the odds of contracting an STD due to my experience. Also does the time frame in which I took the herpes test render a false negative? Also what STD is characterised by grey watery discharge?
Avatar f tn Once again, if there is no bad smell or you feel no discomfort, this type of discharge is quite harmless. As your cycle progresses, your vaginal discharge will begin to thicken. You may experience thick discharge during different stages of your menstrual cycle or at the beginning of pregnancy. You can freely treat white discharge as entirely natural lubrication. It keeps your vaginal tissue healthy and minimizes the friction during intercourse at the same time.
