But before i knew i was i started having yellow, greenish, smelly discharge and my vagina was itchy and irritated. I have two kids and with both pregnancies i had yellowish discharge. I went to the gyno and he said that my cultures were negative. Then i went to the ER and they had asked me if i had ever had an STD before and i havent and they also said that my cultures were negative.
So before I got my period I got this greenish yellow discharge...they said it was supposed to go away once you got your period....but I still have mine allll the time between my periods....sometimes its thick, sometimes its watery....and I don't know if its a bad thing or not... but it smells bad and it ruins my underwear, I feel like I need to wear a pad all the time....is there any way I can get this to stop?
I have a greenish discharge that reminds me of snot. In texture it's like something fairly normal but the color is a little concerning. I have also had a vague itching sensation in the last few days. Is this something I should be concerned about or is my body just messing with me?
I would say that if there is green discharge, you want to go to the doctor. Green discharge is almost always indicative of a bacterial infection. Vagifem should increase your discharge or make you more wet, but shouldn't change the color. It is not normal to have green discharge as a result of using Vagifem.
after we tried that I felt itchy and burning sensation/sorenes, redness and painful urinating with greenish discharge. Hi if you dont have a greenish vaginal discharge then you dont have trich as this is the more frequent symptom of it in women and if you were tested positive for trich before and did not have a greenish discharge theres a chance you did not have it then. Itching in itself is not the more common symptom.
I would not be concerned at all about HIV as you fall into a low risk group being heterosexual. but test if your concerned. you can have the DUO test at 28 days post exposure.

Nobody likes finding greenish yellow discharge, trust me. Sorry you did. Try not to worry too much though. Does it have an odor? This color is most often the result of infection. But infection usually has an odor associated with it, if you have bacterial vaginosis. A dietary supplement can also turn your discharge that color. Two weeks before i experienced a discharge (yellow/greenish;no pain) I had unprotected sex, oral and anal, with my long term partner. We were both tested a month ago and were clean for everything.
9 days before the discharge i received just oral sex (although brief) from someone new i began dating.

I am currently 18 years old and I have had vaginal discharge since forever, even before I started my period, I know that discharge is normal, I had the normal clear occasional discharge, it then gradually turned into a more white/mucus like discharge, which I have also heard is normal. I dont know if this change has to do with me starting on birth control when I was 15ish or not.
