discharge

Avatar n tn I'm in my 3rd trimester, 31 weeks and during my pregnancy I've had a lot of discharge, white & or mucus green color sometimes itchy. It has a foul smell too. Is this normal ?
Avatar f tn As long as it's white & no discomfort , no smell and no outstanding color like more yellow then white / green then it's pretty normal
Avatar f tn Yeah, discharge is totally normal throughout pregnancy. That being said, itchy, irritated or super dry down there isn't good. See your Dr. Yellow/green, fishy smell discharge isn't good. See your Dr. Bright red, with or without pain may be a concern. See your Dr. Clear or white with no smell discharge is usually normal. If you're having a lot, like you need to change during the day, see your Dr.
Avatar m tn It is normal to to have an increase in discharge during pregnancy. It is also normal to have this increase in discharge before your period. In pregnany the discharge is referred to as leukorrhea. As long as there is no unpleasant odor you should be fine.
1050233 tn?1310071038 I agree with the others. Give your doctor a call. Usually pregnancy discharge is whitish and shouldn't have much of a smell to it. How green was it and was it a foul odor? I would probably get it checked out...just in case you've developed some type of infection or something. It might be nothing, but better safe than sorry. Best of luck and keep us posted after you talk to your doctor!
Avatar f tn White vaginal discharge is completely normal during pregnancy and may increase as your pregnancy gets closer to term. It can sometimes be "chunky" for lack of a better term or just creamy-like. As long as it does not have a foul smell or is tinged yellow or green or mixed with blood, then it's completely normal. Nothing to worry about. Lower back ache is also common in early pregnancy.
869568 tn?1248372915 I am 15 weeks pregnant and I know that discharge is totally normal during pregnancy. I just need to know what is normal and what is not. I just heard a story from a gal who went into pre-mature labor b/c she had a bacterial infection and didn't know it. She thought she just had normal discharge. So, that got me worried. So, if you ladies don't mind me asking and you don't mind sharing to put my mind at ease, are you having discharge, too? What color is it?
Avatar f tn I've had regular white discharge but never green mucus one.
Avatar f tn I just stopped my menstrual cycle and noticed light cottage cheese like discharge I have no fishy smell a little red .
Avatar f tn Extra discharge is completely normal during pregnancy. It is your body's way of keeping out bacteria and softening your vagina for delivery. It did smell more sour for me in the 1st trimester but cleared up in the 2nd. Anything green, yellow, very thick or with an abnormal smell should be mentioned to your doctor.
Avatar f tn I would go immediately. I had a friend who was slowly leaking fluid. She waited. Baby took a pop she had a greenish brown discharge and caused a huge infection.
Avatar n tn I had a green discharge at the end of my pregnancy and I was checked for infection.
Avatar f tn A bit of discharge is normal during pregnancy only if it's clear and with no smell, pain while urination or itchyness, if it starts to change in colour to yellow or green you should talk to your doctor but if you say it's just clear with no symptoms it should be fine :)
1456473 tn?1365827455 its green and snotty looking, no smell or anything, its not discharge, my discharge is white/creamy/clear but when i see bits of green i know its bits of the plug. i have not been checked, i phoned a midwife at the hospital to speak to and she said as long as it is not pink or blood stained do not worry, but when i see it i think it could be my cervix opening. its not due to sex or anything because we wear a condom and have not done it in about a week.
5691681 tn?1375735348 I have this also and have for awhile so im guessing its normal??
5793136 tn?1375294504 Mine was my mucus plug shredding and coming out in pieces. She told me any discharge during pregnancy is normal and only to worry if it has a foul smell or is bloody red. She said some have brown yellow green blueish purpleish clear white so many colors of discharge but it is normal...not saying that just BCUZ it is you shouldn't keep it from Ur doctor..always tell Ur doctor about what's going on with your body..
Avatar m tn Starting today I noticed that I have off white stretchy discharge that smells foul. I always have stretchy white discharge during ovulation, but no smell. I am on birth control but I am at the time of the month where i normally ovulate, or atleast my body thinks its ovulating. I do not have any itching, burning, and no green or yellow discharge. The smell kind of reminds me of the smell that dried spit has.
10707428 tn?1415569790 Possibly yeast infection. I had one and had no symptoms besides heavy yellow discharge. No smell, itching, burning, nothing. I'd make an appt Monday and get checked.
Avatar n tn I would call your doctor.

Avatar f tn I'm 14 and I've noticed green/slightly brown discharge. I had full brown discharge around a month and a half ago, but it was dark brown. I've never had my period and I'm a virgin. I'm really confused. It doesnt itch and it doesnt have a strong smell. Any ideas?
Avatar f tn I had my baby 5 weeks ago and now I have a yellowish green discharge. Has anyone ever had this? I go to the doctor on Thursday for my after baby checkup. Just kinda wanted to know what to expect her to tell me it is.
Avatar f tn White watery discharge is completely normal during pregnancy. Whit watery discharge looks milky because its white and watery. If there's a smell to it that doesn't seem right or any itching and burning, clumps to it, or has a bit of green then you should worry.
Avatar f tn I Am 8 Months (35 weeks). I've Been Having Green Discharge For Quite A While Now. I Never Report It To My Dr. Because "I Thought" It Was Normal. But Like 2 Appointments Ago I Brought It Up Because The Discharge Had Gotten A Lil Worser ( It Didnt Itch, Smell Or Any thing) I Was Just Discharging A Lot Of It During The Days. When I Asked My Dr. About It She Said It Was Normal & It Could Be My Mucus Plug.
Avatar f tn I believe it means that your having some infection anything green coming out of the body is a sign of infection. But i know its normal to have a yellow discharge during pregnancy. If your going to the doctor for it the doctor could find out what the problem is.
