Green blood cells

Common Questions and Answers about Green blood cells

Avatar n tn I just went through the same problem with red blood cells ~ count went to 10.3 and they were talking about reducing my dosage. I'm on week six and tolerating everything remarkably well. Did extensive searches on building blood cells and came up with the following information: Body requires B-12 and folic acid to generate new blood cells. Acidophilus (found in yogurt, but higher concentration available in Colostrum ~ go to the health food store) Diet and exercise play a part in the process.
Avatar f tn She said that his red blood cells is abnormal, is this going affect his health (growth, learning)? He has low iron so she says to buy some multi vitamin (the liquid kind) from the store and give him a drop a day. I give him my breastmilk, does my eating affect him? Should I intake food that is high in iron? Thanks!!
Avatar m tn had my thyroid removed - started thyroid meds - since last chemo for thymoma which started about 6 weeks after that, my red blood cells and platelets have not responded - have had several transfusions. the last time I had good red cell numbers were right after they took out my thyroid out and waited 5 weeks before iodine radiation. Has anyone heard of any reaction like this?
Avatar n tn All the green tea in the world will not prevent or stop the HIV virus.
Avatar m tn The organ also releases compounds that attracts stem cells to this organ.
Avatar m tn We release stem cells everyday naturally, even if we dont use the newer more potent ways like reinjecting them, just eating normal foods cause stem cells to be released into the blood stream....not as much i said before...
Avatar f tn * Blood. The presence of red blood cells is the main reason urine turns red. Usually, bleeding isn't severe and occurs without other signs or symptoms. Factors that can cause urinary blood, known medically as hematuria, range from strenuous exercise, urinary tract infections and an enlarged prostate to kidney or bladder stones, kidney disease, and, occasionally, kidney cancer or bladder cancer. * Foods. Beets, blackberries and mom's rhubarb pie can turn urine red or pink.
Avatar f tn At other times a few tests are conducted. Blood tests to rule out anemia, stool test to look for white blood cells, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy etc are used to diagnose ulcerative colitis. Braium meal and follow through, endoscopy etc are done to rule out GERD, Crohn’s disease etc. Irritable bowel syndrome is diagnosed by elimination of other causes. Gluten is a complex protein present in four main grains---wheat, rye, barley and oats.
1585723 tn?1296825212 I'd like to pass on some results I've had since drinking green tea. When I was first diagnosed with hcv, my liver panels indicated alt=90 and ast=66 so I consider this kind of a baseline. At one point I started taking a bunch of vitamins and supplements which made my enzymes shoot up to alt=167 and ast=105. Pretty sure that was too much to start with all at once so I quit everything and the enzymes started to come down. Alt came down to 121 ast=73.
Avatar n tn I have a perpetual yeast infection since...and the pale green vagina mold, even when my blood sugar is well controlled. I cannot consume many carbs per day or I pay for it in fire pee. I can't even have fruit, and I certainly cannot have sex. I've been to the GYN -- tested for all things -- I think I am expected to live like this. Having a's become absolutely hellish.
435139 tn?1255463991 Though the research article did say that drinking 2 cups of green tea a day can stop cancer cells (which is what methotrexate is targeting) from growing. The good news on caffeine drank during pregnancy, from coffee and tea, is that a moderate amount is fine. Two studies, one by Danish scientists who interviewed more than 88,000 pregnant women, and the other by the Yale University School of Medicine, had similar findings on caffeine during pregnancy.
Avatar f tn Can a bacteria or virus get inside the cells? Can it be detected wih a CBC or MET test? All my tests were normal except for an LDH test (227 U/L), and an alpha 1 globulin test (.25 gm/dl). The doctor said he doesn't know, and wants me to get the same tests in six weeks. I feel ill and very exhausted all the time, and get sleepy a lot. My muscles hurt and get sore and hard to move when I use them. And I am getting worse all the time.
Avatar f tn I was then prescribed another anitbiotic and sent for a urine culture. The culture determined that I had white and red blood cells in my urine but no growth of bacteria fro 24-48 hours. I then went to my OBGYN to have a pap smear and to be tested for chlamydia and gonnorhea. Everything was fine. Things seem to be ok for a while. Currently, I have a new boyfriend who has had a vascetomy. Well, last week, we had unprotected sex (lots of it and i know stupid) and he came inside of me.
Avatar n tn They now must be screened for lack of epithelials (if epis are in the specimen, it means the specimen was not produced from a deep cough and it's mostly spit) and hopefully the specimen will show a preponderance of white cells. Green sputum usually shows lots of white cells, so you probably have something inflammatory going on somewhere. Good luck.
518777 tn?1213335760 Hello, I just recently had a blood test done and my gastrin level came back at 145 high. Does anyone know what this means? Thank you.
Avatar f tn This tint of green-overall not blotches, has happened before in the past a few times. My vision is not deteriorating, but I'm trying to link it up to something in my diet (or lack of). It occurs immediately upon awakening, but only lasts a few seconds, then everything is normal. I'm 50 y/o woman with no health problems (thyroid exception). My BP is usually normal between 120 -130 but can spike shortly a bit higher. I take no BP meds. Could it be a spike in BP?
20831788 tn?1527509709 Exactly what do you mean by improving blood cells? All cells in your body are protected by getting sufficient nutrients for the body to do what it does, by living a healthy lifestyle, getting enough sleep, exercising (or more properly moving), the luck of your genetics, and staying away from toxins in the environment and in food and medicine that degrade your immune system and cause cell mutagens to go nuts.
1330108 tn?1333680904 Is anyone else doing cord blood banking? If so which company are you going with? I am doing it and I think I'm going with cord blood registry.
267401 tn?1251856096 Think about all the drugs, vaccines, and treatments that are being developed and rely on human blood cells for testing. Donating blood can save just as many lives indirectly in this manner. Talk to your doctor about your particular situation and only do what makes you comfortable. Donating blood is about helping those in medical need, so it defeats the point if by donating you put yourself in medical need! Best wishes to all!

Avatar n tn now the question why you are bleeding from your nose all the time, is it related to abnormal nasal vessels or is it related to thin blood from low platelets which is the cells that help forming a clot or is it related to abnormal coagulation of your system.
Avatar n tn I think she had a bad odor also and said she could see white blood cells in the toilet when she would go. I do know if that is actually possible but this is what she told me. Definitely see your dr right away to get on some meds if needed. Good Luck to you. Like Stacie30 said green is NOT a good color to have.
Avatar n tn I also am having blood in my spit. I've been to an ENT, a gastroentorologist, and my primary care. I've been scoped every which way. No sinus bleeding, no stomach or ulcer bleeding, clean chest xray and semi clean CT scan. The CT scan came back with enlarged nasal walls, which are symptomatic of a person with constant allergies and sinus problems, which is me. The ENT put me on a nasal spray as well, to hopefully reduce that and I'm going for another CT scan in 6 weeks.
564735 tn?1263947126 Eat lots of fruits and vegetables - best choices are the deep green and orange ones like spinach, carrots and oranges. They may not increase the blood count but they make the white blood cells stronger. Multi vitamins that contain zinc would also help. I will keep you in my thoughts. Please keep us posted.
2019109 tn?1346850055 3 but the nurses seemed hesitant to give me HOW elevated my white blood cells were other than telling me they were elevated. As she read through I swear she said, '15 or 16'. One asked how I was feeling as the Doctor wanted to know when she called me in for this second blood draw, I mentioned dizziness and feeling faint, scratchy throat, a slight temperature and lightheaded and some times have upper chest pain but figure its from the scoliosis I have or DDD, arthritis in my spine/hips.
Avatar m tn If we combine a NO rich food, moderate physical activity and proper amount of amino acid and antioxidant, our body will become nitric oxide producing powerhouse and that will keep our endothelium cells healthy and our blood will flow easily which can lower our blood pressure. In Denmark majority of people eat vitamin pills everyday to have a healthy life. We are able to make our life healthier by adding amino acid Arginine, Citrulline in our daily vitamin supplement.
Avatar n tn It does a sort of integration over time of your blood sugar but it doesn't work when you're taking riba because the red cells don't last long enough to accumulate sugar on them. So just measuring plasma sugar is all you can do while on tx. My sugar is on the high side now but not high enough to need a drug. I'm SVR. Way to go flguy. You paid the dues and I hope you get the payoff.
Avatar m tn Folic acid, that's vitamin B9, is a B-complex that helps the body make new healthy red blood cells. Foods with high amounts of folic acid are enriched breads and cereals, green leafy vegetables, again like kale and spinach, dried beans, peas and nuts. Vitamin B 12 is a B-complex, it's important for the DNA synthesis and production of red blood cells in the bone marrow. Low levels of B-12 lead to abnormal cell division in your bone marrow.
Avatar m tn That, in turn, increased their blood cells' tendency to clot. But the researchers also found that aspirin might reduce that risk. TMAO is short for trimethylamine N-oxide. It's produced when gut bacteria digest choline and certain other substances. Past studies have linked higher TMAO levels in the blood to heightened risks of blood clots, heart attack and stroke, said Dr. Stanley Hazen, the senior researcher on the new study.
