1331381 tn?1294114950 I would say that today's workout went a lot better than yesterday's. Didn't do as many songs as yesterday, but the workouts were more intense, so i think that kinda makes up for the lack of songs. I'm still doing the routine of alternating between one song moving and one song resting. Will probably keep doing that for this week, and maybe next week before i dive into two songs in a row before a break.

I'm starting to feel the effects of exercising again, and my muscles are starting to ache a little :/ I did 8 songs though, which is one more than yesterday, so I can't really complain *that* much. Instead of Yoga today, the public access will be airing a half hour aerobics, so i'm interested to see how that will go. I underestimated the yoga for sure, holy crap. I think i hurt more doing that yesterday than i did after the zumba. Yikes.

Avatar f tn Absolutely ;) I'd put mine in sweat mode songs to work harder and was doing it constantly for about 3wks anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3hrs (split up throughout the day) I dropped ten pounds in 2wks and felt great. Definitely can't wait to get back into that routine once I get some energy!!! Dancing to the wii is moving muscles and that's a workout in it's self.

637356 tn?1301928422 We Cheer 2 and since my daughter loves to cheer I thought why not. I played the game with her and realized for every cheer you master you open new songs. We played for two hours last night and today I am sore all over. I used muscles I didn't even remember I had!!! Plus it has a workout routine that will tell you how many calories you have burned by the end of the routine! I loved this!!!

Avatar f tn Also - after they all left and it was just me and my son - I had the desire to listen / dance to music, which i haven't done in years - I turned on itunes and blasted some rock songs and danced around the house with my baby. It was a blast and good workout which left me feeling amazing - such a rush - I really missed natural highs. So those of you on day 1, 2, 3,4, etc....
393685 tn?1425816122 It's very fun and actually a great workout, probably more vigorous than wii fit. I combine the two, a little wii fit, then a few songs in "Helix" and it's a really good workout. I actually enjoy the step/music game in wii fit the most, I wish there were more levels or different movements to move up to, whats there is pretty rudimentary and just a start.

It's a great idea to have a variety of things that you enjoy, so you can keep rotating your exercise, rather than doing the same thing every day. Rotating, keeps your muscles "on guard" and they don't have a chance to get used to the same thing. I often rotate the Wii Fit, with the Biggest Loser - Yoga for Weight Loss, with another yoga dvd I have........Can you tell that I'm a yoga fan??
5538989 tn?1514402053 But when I do feel anxious about something in particular, I find that exercise is always a sure thing that will make me feel better, mentally and physically. It's a great outlet, temporarily gets my mind off my concerns, and of course the benefits continue after you're done. For me I like a hard workout on my treadmill with loud music, or a nice long walk with my dog. The mental health benefits of exercise are backed by research.

I was the model wife last night for the big day. Sat with you guys a while and crashed on the couch. ALL NIGHT!! opps. :{ He's still really sick with the cold thing - so I'm sure he didn't mind sprawling out in bed. We have Maui coming on January 09 - so that is what we are looking forward to. :) It was fun last night - for as long as I lasted.

Did a great workout, spent sometime with my daughter, 'met' my mom, grocery shopped for healthy food and ate, read, and here I am. I haven't had the mind battles as much today. Thank you, Lord.
