Are Graves Disease and allergy shots compatible? I've had RAI and am on Synthroid. My seasonal allergies (as well as dust mitea, etc.) are very bad. I understand that allergies are also a type of autoimmune disease in itself. Elaine Moore tends to believe that immunotherapy (allergy shots) makes Graves Disease worse, and can possibly bring on the Graves Eye Disease.

My question is : Although I am almost 4 months on Carbamizole treatment 60 mg + Taking inderal ( propanalol), but the levels of my T4 & T3 are still high and the levels of TSH is less than 0.01. what do you think , should i sstop the medication and think of the other allternatives like the radioactive iodine or surgical removal?

My ob explained to me that by people not vaccinating kids the death rates for the flu and whooping cough have sky rocketed!
