Avatar n tn I was really hoping for a suggestion as to why I may have developed an indentation in the top of my head. At first I thought I was crazy, and that it was impossible for that to happen, but over the last few months it seems to have grown and now anyone who feels the top of my head can easily feel it.
Avatar f tn We could only get a total of 18 days inpatient and a total of 4 months outpatient covered by insurance and other available services. We thought she was doing well, and she of course, learned to hide it very well. If I hae learned anything from this whole horrible experience, addicts are devious, amazing liars. She managed to pull the wool over not only OUR eyes, but the outpatient counselors eyes as well!

Avatar n tn The symptoms of ringing in your ears and violent head shocks associated with visual changes are of unclear etiology, but I would consider trigeminal neuralgia, seizure disorder and possible tumor as likely causes. Trigeminal neuralgia is a condition that causes shocks of pain down one side of the face and is often triggered by contact with skin of the face or sensation around the teeth. This is often treated with medications such as tegretol.

611067 tn?1458595083 The economy will rebound, it always does. The government just needs to get its nose out of things and let free market economics take charge. Some of these companies NEED to fail. It's the way the system works. If they are not making a profit, then they need to change the way they do business. Taking the tax burden off of corporations as the Fair Tax does would be the first step.

801876 tn?1238336386 o) I am trying to get the benefits side of things sorted out. It's just making myself do it sometimes that's the problem. 544292 tn?1268886268 Hi Tramadol Warriors, Many people have come here for many years, giving support and getting support. Because I still believe that Tramadol is unique in it's ... terror and torture of humans, this thread continues. The people who can understand what you are going thru are the people who have kicked it and there's people here who come back to lend a hand. You also will never need an understanding ear as much. You can do it. You can quit. You do not need to be a slave to Tramadol.
Avatar n tn and I am simply using the board to object to the injustices that addicts suffer at the hands of our government... I do not see addicts profitting from their disease... but the legal system, DEA, law enforcement and other governmental agencies DO. I enjoy your posts and am grateful for the opportunity to add my 2 cents via your post. Thank you.

Avatar m tn I usually stay up late to work (upwards of 5AM sometimes) and the entire time this crawling is going on. When I get in the bed it's even worse. Now here we are at present day. Three days ago I started feeling like whatever this was is now in my skin (I'm certain of it), It's under the skin on my face, my scalp, my back, my toes, and my feet. I can feel it crawling in and out of my anus at times also. Went to the dermatoligist today and of couse he says it's my imagination, some people get it.
Avatar n tn My suggestion on how to already known! Ok, I don't want to transform all of you in a bunch of drug addicted, but have you tried a tranquillizer just once? Just to see whether your tingling diminishes the moment you calm down? @rnneeedshelp: as my "colleague" has written, you are anxious over the symptoms, not the opposite, and the same is for all of us.
Avatar n tn I lost a government job because of it. I don't personally know anyone who choses fioricet as a drug of choice. There has never been anyone to talk to.

203342 tn?1328740807 I wish I had a video of it. Could this just be arthritis? Or could he be having a mild seizure from time to time? He's kind of gone down hill more this last year. I wonder, sadly, sometimes if this will be his last year.
Avatar n tn In other words no heroics. And an accurate assessment of level of consciousness may be skewed in the presence of drugs used to make the person comfortable. However, there is validity to the premise that pain will actually keep you alive longer, and it's always an ongoing challenge to find the balance of pain and/or anxiety control.
Avatar n tn History of my problem: For as long as I can remember, I have had a problem with my hyoid bone popping out and causing excrutiating pain. It is always the same - the right side of my neck. At about the age of 8 I talked to my pediatrician about it and he promptly told me it was not possible. That I was having anything "pop out" in my neck. He contended that there wasn't anything there that could pop out. So I just continued to push it back into place whenever it popped out.
Avatar m tn As for the Xanax, I had to go to a detox to come off of them, otherwise I would have had a seizure. My girlfriend had 3 seizures from coming off of them incorrectly. Mixing any opiate, Suboxone included, with Xanax is a dangerous dance. He may not even know how dangerous it truly is.
363682 tn?1299492962 For around three or four years now, I have been suffering from headaches some two hours or more after the consumption of any amount of alcohol - although typically as few as two drinks upwards of any kind of alcohol. The headaches come on slowly but persistently and follow a line from the left side of my neck across the top of my head to just above the left eyebrow. They are not sharp pains but more of a constant 'throb' and can go on for hours.
Avatar f tn I am going back to be screened for the ABT triple therapy Trial as an alternate. I'm not sold that the Gilead TX is going to be the Gold Standard for future TX.
