This place is better to talk about your problems where as myspace or facebook are good to meet people and just have fun.

Are sites like Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Bebo, Lindekin, etc....good sites to meet someone? If so, how should one construct one's profile indicating that they're looking for someone? Is this a "too much" of a desperate approach? I'm not talking sites like eharmony, match, lavalife either...I'm talking real social-networking sites? What about band forums too?

Music moves the soul... and can get baby grooving while still in the womb, too! I thought it'd be fun to see what everyone listens to and list their favorite bands and songs. I'm always looking for more bands and music in the genres I like to listen to and it's always fun to see who listens to what because sometimes it can be surprising (like most people assume I like pop by looking at me but I actually rock out to alternative Christian music).

The other night i went on myspace to check up on my son who by the way doesn't know (thought he did) and found some disturbing correspondence to a girl. I was shocked. HE was asking her if she would do certain things sexualy for him and if he could do things to her disgusting things that i didn't know he even knew about, things i wouldn't even do. I'm very close to my son and have been talking to him since the third grade about sex and changes.

The performers at the Festival were our teachers. I got good feedback and constructive criticism on my songs, and I came out of there renewed, refreshed and inspired! I took my sweet time coming home, eventually holing up in Mendocino for a couple of days just to write. My DH sure missed me, and of course I missed him, too. But I really needed this time alone, and thankfully he understood. Timing couldn't have been more perfect!

My fiance has an issue with me having a myspace or facebook, should this be an issuee? its a serious deal breaker for him. I just see it as a way to keep in touch with old girlfriends I havent spoke with since highschool. He makes such a big deal about it, should I just forget about it?
