Get him some books he actually likes. There are a lot of illustrated novels, and lots of good young-adult fiction. Even comics like Calvin & Hobbes or Zits have plenty of adult-based humor, so what if they have pictures, it's still reading. Let's not forget the Lord of the Rings, The Warriors, and Harry Potter series.

I really do not know how regirestry works but having tons of books are good. People think I'm overdoing the whole reading thing because I read novels to my baby.
When you say "my uterine portion is bulging out in my body," do you mean that your pubic bone (sometimes called the "pubic mound" in bodice-ripper type novels) sticks forward, or do you mean your uterus is prolapsed into your vagina, or do you mean your uterus is swelling (as in pregnancy) and shows? Probably, but not in the way you think. In fact most artists, actors and other people in creative jobs/hobbies that I know of choose not to use adhd medications since they need their "crazyness" to fully express them selves. However, when your "creativity" dissapears you will gain concentration and structure, so others think this compensates for the loss.
I am a senior who has suffered from depression all of my life. I have been a moderate alcohol drinker for many decades. I stopped drinking almost a month ago, hoping my short-term memory would improve. It hasn't. In fact, it's worse than during the period of consumption. I've led a production life, publishing novels after retirement. I guess I'm just trying to reach out, for I have kept this to myself because I'm embarrassed.
