Avatar m tn ) Also there are free sex education classes you can take online if you are confused on the ways you are able to get pregnant and how it works, planned parenthood also does fee sex education classes and pamphlets if you prefer in person. Education is very important at any age when becoming intimate in a relationship.
Avatar m tn and ideas like that when they were all from the same background and had gone to prep schools and really had no idea what life was like outside of that clique. I ended up dropping out and going to a city college.
Avatar n tn what sex education should i give to my 8 year old daughter ? how should i describe to her?
Avatar f tn I probably will get flack for sayong this but. With getting a nursing job as hard as it is now I would keep going if I was you. Employers might think you weren't as good a student if you take long to get your degree. It took me a long time to get a good job and I worked my butt off in school and worked crappy jobs without a baby then. My best to you.
Avatar f tn Concentrate on your school work. Nothing can replace a good education. I do hope that if you and your boyfriend are having sex that your using protection.
Avatar m tn You already posted this same exact question and everyone told you its not possible if you didnt have sexual intercourse and there was no ejactulation inside of you. Precum on ur finger would not likely get u pregnant. Please take some sex education classes before u continue sexual activity and please post your questions somewhere else in a more appropriate forum. U will not get your answers here.
Avatar f tn I'm almost 34 weeks. I started my classes yesterday and will go every Wednesday for the next 4 weeks.
1035252 tn?1427227833 We had a few teen pregnancies at my school, and the interesting thing is that it was usually the girls whose parents pulled them out of sex ed classes because they found them immoral. I took sex ed in school, and if anything, it taught me that I was no where near ready to have it. I agree that abstinence is the safest route, but I'm also a realist and know that people WILL have sex. . . so let's educate them.
Avatar n tn Hi ladies! Have any of you signed up for birthing classes yet? I'm looking for Bradley classes in my area, but there aren't many options. I would really want to have a more natural child birth without an epidural and have tried to look up online classes but those don't exist. Just wondering what some of you are thinking about or finding on birthing techniques!
Avatar f tn I went u my whole first and second quarters pregnant my third quarter I was parenting its not as hard as it seem.
Avatar f tn I know this sound like I am being a ***** but seriously???? This and so many other questions like this are why sex education is necessary people!
Avatar n tn Get some better sex education. As quiet says, you really could ovulate almost any time in your cycle. The "average" menstrual month is 28 days long, with a first day of the period being "day 1" and ovulation coming around day 14. But some women ovulate early in their cycle and some ovulate late. Drop in at Planned Parenthood and see if they have any classes about reproduction and birth control. They used to be pretty good, back in the day.
Avatar n tn t plan on taking time off from school. I am due January 31 and registered for online classes. I also went full time this previous semester but had classes on campus daily. It wasn't difficult.
Avatar f tn How about this, you should stop wasting people's time! There are women who genuinely need help and because of you and your lack of sexual education, their questions are being bumped to the bottom and getting ignored. Any female knows that you cannot get pregnant by being fingered, only by sex or medical help (like IVF). I still stand by my statement, that this is a fake account and your a male posing as a female!!
11408025 tn?1417974109 It really depends on the area you live in and what schools you want to send your child. My daughter is in daycare, so she won't go to a preschool. The daycare has similar curriculum. My son will start there as well when I go back to work. Our daycare has a waiting list. Both of my kids were on the waiting list before I even was able to find out boy or girl.
Avatar f tn I teach both online classes and in person classes, and I can tell you that online classes are much harder. Also, it's not a good idea to just enroll in an online program for something if you're not sure what you want to do. My suggestion is to look into enrolling in just a couple online classes through your local community college. Start with the ones everyone has to take and see if there's anything that you enjoy.
1679679 tn?1312785079 You can only get pregnant when you ovulate, which is typically 2 weeks before your period starts. Though I do highly recommend that you wait to conceive until after you are done with school. It is very difficult to have be pregnant/have a new born and go through classes. I've seen way too many women drop out because it becomes too much or they want to focus more on their baby/family. You have plenty of time to have a family later.

Avatar f tn I'm taking my classes online and I'm overdue with my first baby. My professor also advised me to drop her class but I won't. I'm too close to graduation.
Avatar f tn So im still in highschool, and ive had to ask to go to the bathroom seriously twice every class ( classes are 70 mins ) im 29 weeks and 4 days . I hope it isnt like this for the rest of my pregnancy lol.
971074 tn?1362759766 We talked for a while and she recommended Bradley Method for me based on my personality and my desire to have my husband very involved. I started doing my research on local classes. Most of them run for 12 weeks around here and cost from $200-$300. I'm just wondering if it would be better to hire a teacher for a "crash course". I don't want to sound arrogant or naive but I've witnessed 3 live births and 2 were natural.
Avatar f tn Started junior yr in HS this week, & yes its alot to take in too many ppl trying to rub my belly, but its good. Just freshman that stair a lil too much. Haha but its actually kind of fun. Just get home super exhausted ready to nap.
Avatar f tn I get breast feeding classes, a support person I can call/text any time day or night. I get a dental checkup, prenatal education, a case manager, and dietitian. Plus the food assistace. I also signed up for a program to get help with baby supplies....seriously, this is amazing.
