It is rare to get pregnant while on your period but it is possible because "***" can live inside you for a few days...especially if it was your last day. If it's been less than 2 days I'd recommend Plan B from the drugstore. If it has been more talk to your doctor. Usually you have to wait about 3 weeks to take a pregnancy test.

I need some advice iv had irregular periods for a while now since I came off the pill. Iv been off the pill for about 3 years now. I seem to get them regular for 4-5 months then for the next 2 month al not have one and it will change my usual period cycle. I have read that you can chart your ovulation but my periods are very irregular and this seems to be almost impossible. Sounds like your cycles irregular. I don't think it means you can't get pregnant. Have you ever discussed this w/ your ob? When I was younger I had irregular periods then was put on birth control pills. That helped my cycle be every 28 days. I'm now 38 weeks pregnant. Get checked out!

The MOST common reason for irregular periods is PCOS or polycystic ovary syndrome. It is very common. You can Google PCOS and find a wealth of information on it. If you DO have PCOS and are not trying to get pregnant presently, the easiest way to regulate your cycles is with birth control pills. Hope this helps!

I am 27 year old and mentally upset with my irregular periods..I got married 10 moths back..I will describe u the problems... suppose my period date started on 20 th of this month i will get a regular period for 5 or 6 days...but after 10 or 15 days it starts bleeding slightly and it continues until my due date, that means 20th or 22nd of next month...Once the due date reaches i get a normal bleeding for 5 or 7 days..(sometimes little heavy bleeding for 3 days)..

s under a lot of stress ( from school, work, and especially if she is worried about being pregnant ) it is not uncommon to skip a period, or have irregular periods. I have had my share of scares in the past, and have skipped and have had irregular periods from the mental stress that thinking being pregnant can cause.
