1086730 tn?1258455578 the vast majority of my posts are based on my own personal history with an anxiety disorder...therefore the insinuations that somehow that I base all of my replies on my professional background is wrong. Perhaps one day you will require the knowledge and skills of a nurse, and I surely hope that you manage to irk out a little respect and even appreciation. I'm sure you wouldn;t appreciate it if I made some generalized snarky remark about musicians. But, that's just it...I wouldn't.
Avatar n tn I get that in some shape or form. When I try to go to sleep, I kind of feel like like just about as I am going to drift to sleep, I feel really panicky, almost as if I was floating out of my own body. Like I was leaving myself, and so I would wake up gasping for air. And recently... I have been having a new feeling. While I am sleeping... It's almost as if I can see myself sleeping, and I know that I am, and I can feel what it feels like quivers in my heart, or several pvc's in a row...
Avatar f tn She keeps trying to prescribe me mild forms of an antidepressant for my anxiety, but i keep trying to tell her that I seem so anxious because I have been feeling like this for a YEAR now and no one is doing anything. I am worried the endo will say the same thing? Does anyone know whether they use more sensitive lab ranges or will maybe trial me on some kind of meds? I am just wondering what to expect really, and if anyone has any advice as to what I can say to insist my case.
Avatar n tn It was suggested to me again that maybe I had generalized anxiety disorder. Once I started to consider the idea that I had anxiety, things were in perspective for me. I bought an anxiety workbook and started seeing a life counselor. (Check with your employer - most companies have an employee assistance program) Since then, my symptoms have almost all disappeared. Every now and then I get a little shaky, but I take deep breaths, find some peace in the chaos, and balance is restored.
Avatar m tn When I goggled this it was somewhat connected to chronic fatigue syndrome which she doesn't have. She does have anxiety and there is a family history of anxiety. Also, her grandfather has restless legs syndrome and Parkinson's. I have slight restless legs syndrome. She went to an eye doctor who looked at her like she was speaking a foreign language then ignored it. Her neurologist didn't have any idea what it was and suggested she google it and she found all of your comments.
551343 tn?1506834118 I have had viral Meningitis, Bell's Palsy, Hypothyroidism, Costochondritis, Fasciitis, Dizziness/Vertigo while driving, random tingling/numbness in hands, feet, lips, and nose, burning or irritation in ears, anxiety due to the Costochondritis, and sleep apnea. I've been involved in 4 accidents where the vehicle was a loss (always the other person's 'fault'/citation) but with only whiplash for injuries. I've also had at least two embedded deer ticks.
Avatar f tn Although it isn't mentioned in the literature, there seems to be another category of women who are somewhere in between having vulvar vestibulitis and vulvodynia -- they don't have generalized vulvar pain, but have pain (and bumps or sores) not only around the vestibule but also around the opening to the urethra, which causes burning after urination. Others may also experience rectal pain or itching.
Avatar n tn Nothing else was found in CTs of abdomen and groin. I have a biopsy scheduled for next month, but have read myself into anxiety attacks. I have read that anything above 1 CM is abnormal. I have no pain in the nodes themselves but have developed pain in the neck which seems like a stiff neck, and pain exists with any pressure from straining or lifting, also movement related pain in neck, chest and spine in the same region.
Avatar n tn Terribly sorry to hear about your problem. You should be evaluated for a malabsorption disorder like celiac sprue or lactose intolerance. There are tests for these that your doctor should be able to perform. If malabsorption is your problem then dietary changes will likely get things under control.
298579 tn?1192250448 Fibroids may cause a generalized discomfort or the urge to urinate or have a bowel movement as the uterus is forced against the bladder or rectum during intercourse. they may also cause intense cramping pain during orgasm that may last for several hours after intercourse has ended...." it continues on but google only has a preview of page 308 and doesn't continue to 309.
