Pylori (too much soda every day my whole life.. recently cut back) I would have to go back to the hospital to get the right prescriptions because I don't have insurance or a primary care doctor. My mom ate it too but since she doesn't have H pylori I figure that's why she was fine.
200220 tn?1361951554 I have been diagnosed with severe gastritis a few years ago after a endoscopy. The doctor told me to take 2 Prilisec every day and that was it. No other advice. I took it for a while and it does help but I don't think it is good on a long term basis. Anyway that is not exactly what I wanted to ask. Last Nov. on vacation I had sick to stomach, rolling severe pain from bottom of stomach to top that was so bad I was passing in and out of consciousness.
Avatar f tn They did not find anything. Said it was gastroenteritis caused by a virus. Told me to start the BRAT diet. Four days later (6 days from the beginning), I called my pcp. She said she feels it could be gastritis or an ulcer. So it's been 4 days now taking pepcid complete.

The symptoms I have are extreme nausea almost daily, stomach pain, acid feeling, bloating, gas, a bubble that appears in my stomach below my sternum, scratchy throat. This happens after i consume anything that is acidic, chocolate, alcohol, mint, fruits, anything but water to drink, sugary foods, fried foods.
