Avatar n tn x-ray of my chest. Blood tests. bun urea was low and alkaline phosphate was low. They did a urine test and culture which were normal. besides chills and inability to stay warm, i have been sleeping a lot more. Sometimes i sweat and my heart races. I have lost 58 pounds without trying in the past 1 and a half years. They can't find anything. Very sick.
Avatar n tn She has a blood transfusion (4 units) and I was concerned about possible HIV exposure. After being told by you no worries because everything is tested thoroughly now but if I was still worried to talk to her Dr. I spoke with her Dr. about my concerns. He tested her at 3.5 weeks and it was negative. He also told me no worries he was 99.9999% sure HIV was no issue because everything is tested and retested now and it would make medical news, so again no worries which supported what you said.
Avatar f tn Regurgitation simply means the backflow of blood is going through the mitral valve.. I can tell you that gastroenteritis can cause chest pains, sometimes severe enough to make a patient think they are having a heart attack. Have you seen a gastroenterologist? Cardiology is my field and I'm well versed in it, I'm trying to help you to understand heart disease at least to some degree.

12182312 tn?1427683956 ve learned about blood pressure about the past year though that 112 / 70 is not too low and some might even say it's ideal to have those numbers. You can always ask your doctor for more information but as I understand, unless your numbers go below 80 / 50 or you're fainting your blood pressure is not too low. Good luck!
Avatar f tn t give me anything they just want to check me sooner and if my blood pressure is still low they will take me for a c section that day ! I told him I've been feeling really tired and weak lately, he said if it keeps on going or gets worse to call him ASAP !
Avatar f tn (Laying on your back during pregnancy compresses a blood vessel that causes your blood pressure to drop) This happens so often, it has me worried. What can i do to raise my blood pressure? It makes me so tired when i have these "episodes". I lay on my left side when it happens, to get my blood circulating better, and I've even tried elevating my legs above my heart. I also drink plenty of water, and I've even increased my intake recently. What can i do? And is it bad for baby?
Avatar f tn I have low blood pressure to. The doctor didn't seem worried. They told me to eat protein foods and salty foods! My sister had had low pressure with all her babies and they are all healthy! Good luck!

287996 tn?1312023682 hey i've been noticing low blood pressure lately i'm on high bp meds but as of lately when i check it its like 114/72 105/68 110/71 113/70 109/76 97/68 what could this mean???
Avatar n tn s and have been on Synthroid 50 mcg for three months now. I have recently gotten a home blood pressure monitor to keep a check on my blood pressure. I was always pretty normal in that area - about 120/80 at the drs. office. Pretty often when I check my bp it's low. This morning it was 88/66. I have checked it when going from a prone position to standing and it goes up, not down. Could the low bp be from the Hashimoto's? If so, shouldn't it be getting better?
Avatar f tn we all know the dangers of high blood pressure when carrying a baby. but is low blood pressure a problem too? i found out that my feeling faint and nearly passing out is due to this rapid drop in my blood pressure. i'm 36w4d and this is happening more and more often. should i be worried as i've not got long to go? please please help.

1356959 tn?1488975948 I have been feeling dizzy and sleepy for the past few days and I went to see the doctor and I was diagonized with a Low Blood Pressure,he said my body lacks salt. I have been stressing out a lot in the previous three months, could the stress be the cause of my illness?
Avatar m tn Low blood pressure starts at numbers less than 90/60 and is not treated unless you have some symptoms as you describe. Your BP looks good.
Avatar f tn You should try to ask a doctor why he thinks your blood pressure is so low. Ask about your thyroid. Hypothyroid can cause low blood pressure among other things. Weight loss could cause your pressure to lower. Get yourself a home monitoring pressure device and take it daily in the morning and evening and adjust your diet accordingly. It sure has helped me.
372366 tn?1284403873 I have high blood pressure (for the most part), but used to have problems with low blood pressure. My blood pressure does fluctuate between low and high and wonder if autonomic nervous system dysfunction is part of the problem. Here's a couple of web sites I've found with a correlation between autonomic nervous system dysfunction and MS: http://www.healthsystem.virginia.edu/internet/neurogram/neurogram3_1_autonomic.cfm http://www.anaesthetist.com/anaes/patient/Findex.htm#ans.
