My daughter is 14 months old and she has has watery diarrhea and vomitting. When she was born she was perfectly healthy, but once I had to return to work I began to give her formula and that's when she began to have these complications. Ondansetron is used for treating vomiting. Constipation, dizziness and headache are the most commonly reported side effects associated with its use. These symptoms will ware off once you have stopped using the medication. This is merely an advice and not a substitute for clinical examination. I hope it helps.

It could be a case of gastroenteritis (gut infection) which has led to diarrhea and vomiting. The main symptoms of gastroenteritis are diarrhea and vomiting although one or the other symptom may predominate.
If the symptoms persist (>1 day), worsen or lead to other complications you should consult your doctor who could order some tests such as stool examination etc.
In the meanwhile take rest and drink lots of fluids to avoid dehydration.

Gastroenteritis can be produced from
viral,bacterial and parasitic infections, contaminated food or water or change in bacteria that normally live in the intestinal tract.Chest pain that you are having is due to radiation of pain.
Take adequate fluids throughout the day. The BRAT diet (ie, bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) or soft easily digestible semisolid diet can also be taken.You also need a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin or metronidazole.

The pain is specifically on my left side, below the ribs, between the last rib and the hip bone. Right there in the fleshy area of the lower abdomen and going downwards towards the hip. But its specifically on my side, not my back or tummy. Its been a week since symptoms started. On day 7 of a severe case of gastroenteritis. Everything seems to have calmed down, but once I try and eat anything stomach cramps start, which are unbearable. Sometimes followed by diarrhoea. Is this normal after a severe case of gastroenteritis or do I need to see my G.P again?

I had a little bike accident five weeks ago and got an eminentia fracture (type 3 or 4) on my left leg. I had surgery two weeks ago in the Netherlands. They arthroscopically replaced the eminentia into my tibia.
I was wondering if there are orthopedics experienced with this type of fracture? My orthopedic in the Netherlands said I have to walk on crutches for six weeks and I can use my leg with only slight weight. My orthopedic in Bali said I could start walking two weeks after scopic surgery.
I was wondering if anyone out there was also diagnosed with this at any point in their life? I recently went to the ER because I became violently ill, and didn't put the pieces together until now.
When I was around 8 I was diagnosed with this, usually I was vomiting or had diarrhea almost every day for a long time. It seemed to stop, but I always still had diarrhea where most people would have regular bowel movements.
It worries me that this condition could be coming back in force.

During a check up recently, I asked my doctor again about this symptoms and he asked for again one more HIV test, Because all the stress all this caused the last time and because I had no risky encounter in the meantime im not sure I want to do this.
I think the question is, can under any circumstance be HIV the cause despite all those tests?
