I had bearded dragons, a Mali uromastyx, an Asian water monitor, a savannah monitor, 2 tegus, 3 tokay geckos, 2 pac man frogs and 2 leopard geckos and a pueblan milk snake. I also had a sulcotta tortoise who can carry giardia. I got rid of all of them because of the risk except the PAC man frogs because you don't really handle them. USA really up to you but if you have as many as I did, I would atleast down size.
I eventually found a vet willing to help, the drive was only about an hour, it was an exotic vet who claimed to specialize in geckos. but when I got there she said she had only seen two geckos and basically said there was nothing she could do except maybe vitamin shots. she said that we had been taking good care of him for the short time we had him. she recommended we use sensitive eye drops to maybe help get the shed out, which we did, to no avail.
I went to the beach on vacation and got a little burnt each day, when i got home i was very tan. About a week later these big "leopard" spots began to form on my chest, just little ones, and it was weird but i shrugged it off as just peeling. Now it's been 3 weeks and my chest, neck, back, and now my arms are peeling into leopard spots. Is my skin alright? Should I see a doctor?
00 on both eyes. The doctor said that my peripheral retina is not so good since the WWOP and leopard fundus are found. So is it very dangerous for me to develop a tear in the future and what should I do to better protect my eyes.

I went up there and took her to the doctor and she was basically told is was a stomach virus (gastroenteritis) drink plenty of fluids and it should go away in a couple of days but when I look up Gastroenteritis it says that it's common in people with weaken immune system caused by HIV.
She took her 3 month birth control shot the morning before but I'm sure that didn't cause Gastroenteritis. My question is should I be concerned about HIV at this point.

Hello! I seem to have unfortunately caught gastroenteritis. I was given Ondansentron and it helped immensely. However, I can't sleep. I'm so wired and my stomach still hurts but luckily, no side effects. Is this normal? Is it the gastroenteritis or the drug?

Gastroenteritis can be produced from
viral,bacterial and parasitic infections, contaminated food or water or change in bacteria that normally live in the intestinal tract.Chest pain that you are having is due to radiation of pain.
Take adequate fluids throughout the day. The BRAT diet (ie, bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) or soft easily digestible semisolid diet can also be taken.You also need a course of antibiotics like ciprofloxacin or metronidazole.

Well certain viral infections can cause hemolyzed blood in urine. Check again in a day or two. If this persists then go back to your doctor. UTI and stone are the commonest cause. Cancers of urinary system or some drugs too cause blood in urine.

On day 7 of a severe case of gastroenteritis. Everything seems to have calmed down, but once I try and eat anything stomach cramps start, which are unbearable. Sometimes followed by diarrhoea. Is this normal after a severe case of gastroenteritis or do I need to see my G.P again?
they had no effect i then left for madrid,spain for about a week when i returned and went to the emergency room i was vomitingdown to bile and allthough i had been constipated for the whole trip in spain i suddenly started having water like bowel movements. when i went to the emergency room they first gave me an x-ray and said my pancreas was swolen then they gave me a contrast ct-scan in wich the said my boweld were swolen they diagnosed me with collitis. when i went and saw a gastro.
I was wondering if anyone out there was also diagnosed with this at any point in their life? I recently went to the ER because I became violently ill, and didn't put the pieces together until now.
When I was around 8 I was diagnosed with this, usually I was vomiting or had diarrhea almost every day for a long time. It seemed to stop, but I always still had diarrhea where most people would have regular bowel movements.
It worries me that this condition could be coming back in force.
