Take an OTC lactobacillus preparation and yoghurt with your meals. Drink plenty of fluids. Eat light, do not stay hungry but eat simple things like toast, porridge, cereals, crackers etc. Take ORS. Take over the counter antacid and antiemetic (this SOS for vomiting). Watch out for a day or two with this treatment.

You can get gastroenteritis (stomach) with a fever but am not sure the food is related to what you are experiencing. Typically a fever is related to an infection or virus. It can often cause sudden and sometimes violent upsets and may be confused with spastic colitis. Other possibilities are diabetes,cyclic vomiting syndrome,liver pathologies,ETEC infection and mesenteric adenitis.In my opinion,consulting a physician will be the best because without examination,I cannot confirm a diagnosis.
