Yes, some of the symptoms could be due to mold allergy. There are various skin tests and a blood test called RAST which can detect mold allergy. You could also be having a systemic fungal infection.
However there are other causes too like diabetes, hypothyroidism, polyarteritis nodosa that should also be looked into. Anemia and low blood sugar too can be a cause for your symptoms.

I went up there and took her to the doctor and she was basically told is was a stomach virus (gastroenteritis) drink plenty of fluids and it should go away in a couple of days but when I look up Gastroenteritis it says that it's common in people with weaken immune system caused by HIV.
She took her 3 month birth control shot the morning before but I'm sure that didn't cause Gastroenteritis. My question is should I be concerned about HIV at this point.

Hello! I seem to have unfortunately caught gastroenteritis. I was given Ondansentron and it helped immensely. However, I can't sleep. I'm so wired and my stomach still hurts but luckily, no side effects. Is this normal? Is it the gastroenteritis or the drug?

I am a male 22 years of age and Andreax I've had similar problems. It could be an adenovirus as I've had bronchitis, gastroinestinal problems(similar discomfort in my abdomen(gas), runny stools on and off even with the banana diet and immodium peptol bidmol) and ontop of this I've had mild ear congestion, mold conjuctivitiis in my right eye and a mild burning and slightly foamy yet light colored bubble bath urine.

Mold is always toxic, so exposure should be limited, for both yourself and your 4 yr old. Have you tried cleaning the areas with a solution of chlorine bleach which actually kills mold?
From all my research, I can't find a definite scientific link between mold and thyroid conditions.
You should also check the spray you're using to clean the mold, in relation to your daughter's eczema - she may be allergic to it - but gimel is right... do have her thyroid checked as well.
I went to the doc after 5 days. He said its just viral gastroenteritis. I looked up the condition and it says you have vomiting and/or diarrhea, but i have neither. I am worried it is appendicitis, but the appendix is on the right side, not left. I am really in pain but i am taking my meds as described. Does this sound like viral gastroenteritis to you?

This happens randomly and could be his elbow, thumb, knee and even pelvis around the hips joints. We took him to a doctor and he did blood tests and said he was allergic to mold. Well we live in a dry climate and in a brand new house so I'm ruling out mold. The mold he eluded to was alternarius tenius (sorry spelling may be off).

when i went to the emergency room they first gave me an x-ray and said my pancreas was swolen then they gave me a contrast ct-scan in wich the said my boweld were swolen they diagnosed me with collitis. when i went and saw a gastro. specialist he ruled out the collitis and said it was gastroenteritis he told me to continue the levaquin i was prescribed.
I'm so sorry I was just dealing with mold a few weeks ago it grew all in my bathroom and it made my throat really itchy and eyes burn I just sprayed it all with bleach and had my husband scrub it all off and it's gone completely. Vinegar prevents mold from growing.
