Few conditions which can be associated with fever and high SGPT are viral fever, hepatitis, infectious mononucleosis, enteric fever. It is suggested to see a physician and get a physical examination done. Refrain from alcohol and avoid fried fatty foods. You will need investigations for enteric fever, hepatitis C, B, and E. Also get a sonography of the abdomen done. Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. Keep me posted on how you are doing.

Also of note today on my last day on levaquin i started to have abdominal pain, diarrhea and had a fever of 101.3 however 2 days ago I visited a friend who also had similar symptoms of diarrhea/abdominal pain and we ate lunch together sharing a meal. I only found today that he had the diarrhea and abdominal pain. I took 1000mg of Tylenol and the fever went down to 99.5. However I still have diarrhea around 3 times so far today.

If you are passing stools a lot and have stomach pain then in all probability you have either food poisoning or gastroenteritis. Take an OTC lactobacillus preparation and yoghurt with your meals. Drink plenty of fluids. Eat light, do not stay hungry but eat simple things like toast, porridge, cereals, crackers etc. Take ORS. Take over the counter antacid and antiemetic (this SOS for vomiting). Watch out for a day or two with this treatment.

t think that eating spicy food usually will give you burning genitals and fevers. You can get gastroenteritis (stomach) with a fever but am not sure the food is related to what you are experiencing. Typically a fever is related to an infection or virus. Do you have an urge to urinate? Anyway, with the symptoms you are having, I would advise seeing a doctor.
The prime one which needs to be ruled out is gastroenteritis. Gastroenteritis is an irritation and infection of the digestive tract. It can often cause sudden and sometimes violent upsets and may be confused with spastic colitis.
Other possibilities are diabetes,cyclic vomiting syndrome,liver pathologies,ETEC infection and mesenteric adenitis.In my opinion,consulting a physician will be the best because without examination,I cannot confirm a diagnosis.

Pain score 5-8 with no relief- it does not come and go, and it is *not* crampy in nature. it feels like I have been kicked or winded, like a deep tightness.
