ve had colonoscopy done several times over a period of years. Also, recently I find myself with stomach aches , nauseated and gaseous. Can you help explain this? Or give me any ideas?

It states that their is excessive gaseous distension of bowel loops. What does it means? Is it is severe condition.
The only complication really is if you have an allergic reaction to the dye, but then medication is administered to counteract this. The anaesthetic used is not gaseous, so again there are no complications.

s different for every woman. In the beginning I was nauseous, gaseous, and bloated. Vomiting occurred with smells and when I took my prenatals during the day. I'm currently in my second trimester and I gag and still throw up at times due to smells.

Have you been eating alot of gaseous food (such as non-fermented dairy or wheat products)? Take a look at your diet lately. I would look to diet first and foremost. For the time being, you might opt to eat only very easy to digest foods for a while until these symptoms disappear.
On the flip side, you might have some kind of intestinal infection... Before you head over to the doctor, try to include probiotics into your diet and see if your symptoms clear up.

Hello. I am a 36 y.o. male. I had an inguinal hernia repaired 2 years ago. I was an open surgery (not laparoscopic) and repaired with mesh. I have not had what I consider a normal, healthy bowel movement since then. Stool is loose, often floats and stains the toilet (leaves streaks after flushing). Most BMs are urgent and occur 3+ times/day. There is sometimes a burning feeling while going and it is often difficult to wipe clean.
