gas symptoms in adults

I know Cradle Cap is used for babie's that have it but i just cannot remember the real name for it. Anyways my mum seems to have it and she's in her late 40's. The first time she got it was a few months ago, it started off with a severe itchy scalp and red itchy spots on her neck/back, then she woke up with a shock, her scalp was covered in yellow crust, it was awful she was so distressed, i had to get it out with a nit comb. That time she was suffering from stress.

even though a typical age for MS diagnosis is given for the 20-5o age range (or there about), MS doesn't know that rule. Often we might be diagnosed at a later age (I was 54) but can then look back and see all sorts of symptoms in the previous decades that might have fit MS. Why is there such a large deviation or difference of opinion in different doctors on whether or not amblyopia can or cannot be treated in adults? Is it still because studies such as those conducted by McGill University (tetris) are relatively new?

My doctor is now going to refer me back to my old renal consultant as they just dont know what to do with me, as you know it is unusual in adults and frankly i think i am probably the only person they have ever seen with it (i live on a small island so thats not that far fetched) What gets me is that i have had a few years without any problems and i guess i got my hopes up that it was finally over. It is nice to know that i am not the only one out there going through this.

Personally, if I stepped on a nail and I did not know when my last tetanus booster was, I would go to the emergency room or urgent care center if one is open and get a booster for Tetanus.

well there are NO pregnancy symptoms to be honest. there are some things that are common in early pregnancy, but nothing that will tell you if you are pregnant or not. lots of women have all kinda of symptoms and are not pregnant, while some have none at all and are. since i was on progesterone as well, i had lots of bloating,gas, sore breasts, etc. but i had the exact same signs on cycles that did not result in a pregnancy as well. when do they want you to test?

was just wondering what symptoms did you have or are you having in the 13th week? I am in my 13th week and all i am getting is headaches. I mean all the time and wont go away. Pls gas pains and growing pains. Is this rihgt?

I also did a bunch of research on how to sooth a colic baby and found massaging her belly while undressed helped as well. She was also gassy so the massaging helped release gas. If your little one has gas problems try baby gas drops, I have my baby this at times 3-5 times a day.

ve had an endoscopy and a barium esophogram also all normal. It seems to me that all the symptoms are related to gas in the chest cavity. The symptoms now include "gurgling" feelings in multiple areas of the chest and back and what feel like especially strong heartbeats that I can feel easily, but the pulse rate remains normal. Burping sometimes helps but is difficult to induce.

I just posted this same response under another topic.....but it fits here, too: I am a 27-year old female who has just had an ICD implanted. It is the best decision I could have ever made. I am no longer experiencing skipped/abnormal beats. I feel so much better having the device, knowing that should my heart decides it wants to skip beats or even stop, I have a safety net.

Im currently having one of the spells right now , about 18 hours in , started with burps , vomiting at 5 hours in along with stomach pain and gas , general dehydration due to not being able to keep anything down ,.

while ibs can be very extremely painful everyone who has it has a bit differant symtoms, while one has the runs all the time others have a combo of symtoms , gas is always a instigator , leave the carbonation alone as well as other gas causing foods,.......SUGAR feeds bad stuff!! try to cut it out or down or switch to spenda ,........get checked for worms,......change your eating habbits,.... think about putting fruit in a bag and letting it rot,....the bag blows up,.....

Hey there! I too just found out last week I was expecting. I'm about 5w3d now. The only symptoms I've had are pain in my back like crazy! & light cramping here & there. I'm also really hot, & constantly thirsty. I've always had problems with nausea so that hasn't gotten any worse. All women are different tho. Congrats on you sweet baby!!

I distinctly remember on day after a bowl of All Bran....I was an entire pants size bigger, and in agouny. 6 Gas-X later and a bike ride in the back of the pack and things were getting better. On the return visit to the droctor, I said, " If I can't pass $##T, what makes you think that I can expell gass either?" I would rather have that problem, than it leaking out at the wrong times, but the bloating... Ok, this is what I learned last night.

I can get gas in strange places in my body. I know it is gas because when i hit my side or pound on my back i can create a burp. the gas is very painful and can travel through my body to different parts causing very strange symptoms. I can create a burp within a few seconds by hitting my back with my hand ( like burping a baby) The gas can be in my side, middle of my back, hips, etc,, sometimes it feels like my lungs hurt but i can tell it is gas.

Yes haha I've had so much more gas and I burp all the time it's funny cause when I was first prego I was silently farting as I was walking and I just couldn't control it so I just busted our laughing but yea it's definitely normal.
