my age is 26, working in an ad agency. from past8 month i suffering sum pain in my left right, back side.
i have done stress test, 2d echo, chest x ray....all normal.visited my doctor several time bt all he saying is it is a muscular pain. may be due to gas. i do have gas & acidity problem, & motion are not regular.
bt the chest pain keep coming in every day or two, & got irritated with it so do my family.
can any1 plz explain this pain is due to why?
hi there. im only 13 and i get skipped heart beats. but before these, like a year ago, i also got bad chest pain. usually lasted for a couple hours then it just turned out to be gas. i still am perplexed to this day. i noticed that drinking water,eating whole grains, and sleeping helps. try that. but if you got a lot of tests done then it has to be benign. dont worry, even though i know it hurts. just try the things i said and tell me how they work.
I have the same problem sometimes, its most likely gas pain. When I need to relieve gas pain in my chest and upper back I drink about 2-3oz of lemon juice in a glass of water and take a few gas x. It helps me a lot. Try not to drink carbonated beverages after 6pm, and drink the lemon water after dinner and before bed to help relieve the pain all night long, It works wonders for me.
but because you say the pains are not constant, it could be lungs, gas pains or just being muscular skeletal, the only way to know for sure is to go into see a doctor, additional questions and tests, I would start with a simple x-ray of the shoulder and cervical spine. this will also give a high level picture of gas, muscl strain etc... you should start there with a doctor and some blood work, ans some medical history. I would not worry to much until you have some evaluations completed.
I'm having a very rough pregnancy. I have the worst cramps from having gas I've every had in my life. One night I thought I could have been having a heart attack. Is this an issue for anyone else?

After the surgery for a few days (3 days) i had BAD shoulder pain which i was told this is normal because of the gas they give you in surgery. It did go away after 3 days and i felt better than i had in awhile. Now im starting to notice my shoulder is starting to hurt again, does anyone know if this is this still from the gas or should i be concerned?
If anyone else who had gallbladder surgery had this happen to them How long did it take to get over the shoulder pain?
Take probiotics, yoghurt, curd, Omeprazole (empty stomach in the morning) and avoid smoking, alcohol and spicy oily food. Generally pain on both sides is due to gas and not heart condition. However if this does not help, get a 12 lead EKG done.

I do suffer from gas. Does anyone know what foods relieve this gas pain. alot of the foods that I eat seem to contain gas. One recommend garlic, ginger and orange peel, boil together and drink real hot, that worked for a while, but then the gas pain conitnued. Any more suggestions from any one will be highly appreciated. I dont want an er visit for something like trapped gas. In June i had lots of testing on my heart - echo, ekg, 30 day monitor and even that showed nothing at ALL. so i dont believe its heart related. but who knows... could it be lung related? I also have anxiety disorder so i have a hard time telling when things are bad or if my anxiety is making it worse. the pain is definetly pretty intense though.
Your stomach pain could be due to gas thats moving up, down, left or right. Gas could cause your stomach to be distended and cause some difficult breathing as it could restrict lung. Does it get better after passing gas ? The first doctor ruled out any cardiac issues so you absolutely must accept that dx. People with heart problems virtually never describe heart pain as "twitching and bubbling." There really isn't much room for doubt when your heart is in trouble. It seems you have quite a bit of pain in your shoulders, neck and sometimes your back. These are all really classic areas of pain from work and many of us carry our stress and tension in these areas.
