It is totally normal for the poop of breastfed babies to appear to be like diarrea. Breastfed babies have frequent, loose bowel movements, especially in the first few months. My girls would poop 8 to 12 times a day in the beginning! And it was liquid, and if they pooped while we were changing them, it was projectile (once hit a wall 3 feet away). DH called it liquid evil. It is also very normal for a newborn to be gassy. It could be a result of what mom eats, or it could be normal gassiness.

I used a TENS machine and water submersion. Not together of course! They worked really well, put the TENS on in early labour and used that. Then changed to go in the bath at about 9cm, and had a water birth.

This is a funny question but it is something that is painful. I've had horrible, horrible gas pain for the last three days. I've tried gas-x but it hasn't helped. I waited too long to eat the other day and gobbled up a bag of popcorn. That's when the pain started. Even ginger tea hasn't helped. I drank some root beer and it helped some but it has artificial sweetener so i don't want to drink a lot of it. Help, I'm starting to worry.

Okay. So bottle fed babies tend to have more gas. Which makes complete sense. But my baby has excessive gas that I can tell sometimes causes him pain. I've started my son on advent, then moved to regular Tommie tipie, then to the anti colic Tommie tipie, , then playtex vent air, then Mam. Well I read really great reviews on the playtex drop ins for Gassy babies but my son is stuck on the mam nipple, which for those who don't know, it's more oval shaped like a pacifier.

Epidural was the best for me tried gas an air which did nothing for me so went straight for epidural after being in active labour for 39 hours with no progression xx

Just came from his pediatrician he said its GROWTH SPURT(where babies do this at 2, 3, 6 weeks and then 3,6 months. Its just temporary behaviour for babies. It lasts until 2-7 days, depends on babies to babies. Has anyone experienced GROWTH SPURT?

nt hurt and I could breath ok,It hurt to breath in and I was imobile for about 5 mins,the pain was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack,I've experienced gas and I thought that's what it was until it went into my chest,I've never felt pain like that before,having 2 babies was'nt as bad as that was,after about 15 mins it slowly eased up,I took 2 rolaids and a beno,but today I still have a dull acheing in my chest,could this be just gas or something else??

I'm a ftm expecting a boy in mid April. I am also hoping to go without an epidural. I'm type 1 diabetic though and unless he comes before thr 17th, I will be induced... so I'm fearful that my disbetes may interfere with me getting what I really want. I do not want a c section and i don't want an epidural. The epidural freaks me out more than the actual labor part!

I used the wal-mart brand and still do for gas and it works wonders I have never heard of the Milicon drops not working but I did here not to long ago they had a recall on that brand my b/g twins are 8 months

He has had really bad painful gas for over a week now and hasnt been sleeping well. Last night after he had a bowel movement he had aweful gas again afterwards and couldnt sleep. He also eats a little rice cereal with apple juice. The first 2 weeks this seemed to be fine, but this was the 3rd week and it seems to be getting worse again. When he is feeling fine he sleeps perfectly, and is a VERY happy baby.

I bled for 4 weeks. .. Then 2 weeks later, i got my period. Burp him after every ounce..you can give him gripe water...It's like ginger ale for babies. Should help calm his tummy down and push out some gases. I had to give my daughter gas drops before each meal. It helped.

I asked my doctor if it was safe to continue taking gas-x and they said that was fine.

Well, it's painful. I labored 17hrs-pain med free but on pitocin. Pitocin is evil-makes contractions harder & -2mins apart. It's the worst pain ever as above Ur back feels like it's breaking (I also had hard back labor-my son was reversed) it's knock U out pain. What helped me was deep meditation type breaths-breath in for the count of 4, out for 6. & holding on to the side rail. I eventually ended w a C. But I did it for the 17hrs. It's doable.

now i crossed 29 days without periods..my stomach is paining .for this my husband says to me u have gas trouble..and my breasts nipple is slightly pain...am i pregnant?? and when i have to take pregnancy test??Please reply me as soon as possible..
