t imagine drinking that my husband does though he has bad heartburn but most over the counter antacids are safe during pregnancy as long as you use only as directed tums,and zantac are a few if your symptoms are more severe then normal you should take to your doctor about getting a prescription

I get bad pain in my lower back and in my stomach and found out a lot of mine is gas build up during the day. I found if I lay back in a recliner or in the bath tub I get a lot of relief and the gas can escape. I know tmi lol. I don't know why it builds up but it sure hurts!

This might be a TMI for few but a night I have horrible gas pain that just won't go away n I get constipated . is there a way to relive everything without taking something ? Our do I need to take something?

Are you eating a lot of carbs? Sugars will do that, especially during pregnancy. (They do it anyway, and your digestion is slower during pregnancy, and your sense of smell is also more acute.

I'm wondering if any of you ladies had troubles with your gallbladder during pregnancy. I collapsed at work last night with horrible pain shooting through my upper tummy to my side and I thought I was losing baby. I'm 25 weeks tomorrow..I took an ambulance to the hospital and spent the night there running all sorts of test. Baby girl is perfectly fine and all they could find was sludge in my gallbladder. I'm not home resting.

your definitely right about gas during pregnancy. omg i remember when i was pregnant if i overate i had HORRIBLE gas to where my stomach felt inflated like a balloon. fortunately i burped alot instead of something else hahaa.

Has everyone thought of pain meds during labor? Have u done research on how it can affect u & more importantly ur new baby? Obviously I am pro natural birth mainly bc mom's have been giving birth for thousands of years without any help. A woman gets to a hospital & thinks a doctor knows more abt her body than she does. New reports from the medical community is that an epidural can cause autism & a huge host of other problems.

That's how I feel .. It feels like bad period cramps & like I just wanna sit on the toilet forever & release everything (sorry TMI ) but it's not as bad as it was now.

If its tightness accompanied by pain in the upper abdomen that radiates around to the back-it may be gall bladder related-especially if accompanied by vomiting. Talk to your doc about it.

Spotting during early pregnancy is quite common and nothing to worry about on its own. If you want confirmation that the pregnancy is currently ok, then you should have your hormone levels checked via blood test. You have 2 tests 3-4 days apart and see if your hormone levels are increasing. If they drop at all then you would know that you are beginning to miscarry. I wouldn't worry though, from what you said it all sounds fine. Have a happy healthy 9 months!

I'm feeling similar. I'm not sure if its gas pains because the sharp pain I got was while I was sleeping and it woke me up but it came and went. During the day all seems fine but at night it feels like my belly is about to explode, its stretching. I'm trying warm water with lemon slice and trying to exclude food that I think may be culprits. I'm also feeling these tapping/popping inside in my lower abdomen, have you had any of this?

How many of you have used laughing gas and oxygen during labor instead of an epidural? And was it enough for you?
