Avatar f tn I'm about 10 weeks pregnant and have been feeling what I think are gas pains. It is pain that moves around from my back (mid to upper) and abdomen. Is/has anyone experienced this? I'm wondering if I should schedule an appointment because it may be something more serious. Any thoughts?
Avatar f tn Are you suppose to have a lot of pain in your first trimester? And how many pounds are you not suppose to lift?
Avatar f tn Most gas medications they prefer you to wait till after the first trimester and one (I think it's beano) they prefer you to use as little as possible.
Avatar f tn I experienced small cramping my first trimester. If you experience severe pain then you should see a doctor.
Avatar f tn I'm 21 weeks and just started getting pain in my sides and upper abdomen... Dr thinks gas most likely. I've also had lower pain which I think it's round ligament from the stretching. Lots of changes going on in there!
Avatar f tn Hey ladies, I'm 7w3d now. I know some pain during first trimester is normal due to your uterus stretching, but I get a slightly sharp pain sometimes if I stand up too fast. I figure it may just be gas though. Anyone else experience this issue?
Avatar n tn Can you be more specific about the pain? During my first trimester I had really bad cramping. But it's because the ligaments are stretching and your uterus is expanding. But if you ever have any questions or are concerned about it, I'd call your doctor. Good luck!
Avatar f tn I had this problem in my first trimester, I had really bad trapped gas it was so painful I would lay on my side just waiting for relief and it would take forever. I would try different positions to try and get some release but it only lasted my first trimester, by my second it went away thank god. Maybe talk to your doctor for any help, or look online for suggestions. I'm pretty sure there is stuff you can take to help relieve the gas.
Avatar n tn You could try to avoid the foods that trigger the abdominal pain and gas, during my last pregnancy grapes gave me excruciating pain! Drink plenty of water and maybe try eating prunes/prune juice. When was your last bowel movement? You could be impacted with stool if your pain is that severe.
691236 tn?1311199974 I have been feeling so good-never had any morning symptoms or anything during all of first trimester so maybe it is just catching up to me now! I have finally been released from our RE to my OBGYN and I see him on Wed so I will ask him. I am feeling much better today though. Congrats to you on your pregnancy and good luck to you!!!
Avatar n tn I have been experiencing a lot of gas and some mild cramping and just weird pain/cramp like feeling in the direction of my ovaries/uterus/bladder.. is that normal? I have not been spotting, i just freak out a little because im not sure what feelings are normal..
Avatar n tn Did any of you had vaginal yeast infection during first trimester? My doctor perscribed me terconazole. When I got the medication inside of the package it said do not use during first trimester. I researched online and it says that some birth defects can occur.. I spoke with the nurse who said that there is not really anything safer than this medicine and leaving issue untreated can cause miscarriage (if infection gets to the uterus). I really don't know what is best deciduous here.
Avatar n tn I had cramping in my left side during most of my first trimester. They felt like cramps I get when I run sometimes. I was worried I was going to miscarry until a doctor told me the cramping was not low enough down to be a threat. I'd ask your doctor to be sure. Best of luck.
Avatar n tn I am a first time mommy to ve but during my first trimester right now im just drained tired sick and cramps like crazy.dint feel like doing anything. Is this normal?
Avatar f tn For the first part of my first trimester I also had bad gas and diarrhea, and then around 11 weeks it changed to constipation. Its normal, just make sure you stay well hydrated and if it becomes excessive call your Dr.
8197902 tn?1408058802 I agree it sounds like ligament pains. With my 2nd pregnancy I got a belly band for the pain, it helped a lot. It helps to support the weight and take pressure off your ligaments. I only needed it during my 2nd trimester and surprisingly didn't need it my 3rd. I ordered mine off of Amazon.
Avatar f tn I am 6w 3d, and when i last had sex, first i wasnt really feeling it, like i had been in the first few weeks, and second it hurt a little... my friend said she hurt a little when she was newly pregnant, anyone else have this problem?
4280010 tn?1352134681 Blowating, constipation and gas are pretty normal during the first trimester mostly. What helped me was to start wearing loose clothing and eating smaller meals throughout the day. I also love chamomille tea one at night before bed. Avoid meals right before bedtime. If not sure, call your doc for advise. Good luck!
Avatar n tn I had some quite nasty cramping throughout my first trimester. I only went to the OB for the first time at just over 9 weeks. She told me that any cramping is generally normal unless it is coupled with bleeding or is extremely(like doubled over and crying)painful. I am now 20 weeks and sometimes I still get the odd cramp here and there.
