it started on the first of the month. I got some sort of cold/ fever got up to 103f. I thought that i was getting better after a couple of days, but soon was awakened with a stomach flu in the middle of the night, I'm not throwing up anymore, but still have diarrhea and a very consistent pain in my abdomen, which I'm pretty sure is gas.
100mg twice a day, with lots of water, an hour before meals, as instructed. During the course I experienced severe bloating, trapped gas, abdominal cramps, abdominal pain, and belching (burping). The probiotics I was taking didn't seem to make any difference.
I knew that any of the Tetracycline antibiotics, and especially Doxycycline, could have gastro side effects, and I stuck with the pills, after contacting my GP who prescribed them.
Sildenafil can produce a number of rather unpleasant gastric side-effects one of which can be abdominal pain/cramping. The gas may be due to changes going on in her GI tract due to the medications she is on or perhaps due to a change in her GI flora. You might want to consider trying some probiotics - in capsule form rather than those that are found in yogurt. Those in capsule form typically have higher count than what is found in yogurt.
I recently had retinal surgery (vitrectomy) on 11/18/08. The initial plan was to remove a vitreous membrane, and the MD said that during the procedure he discovered a hole in my macula thus requiring the insertion of a "gas bubble". I had never heard of this before. When I spoke with the assisting surgeon re: the bubble, he said it was a gas...CF---, I can't remember the other letters. Does anyone have info.
Still have pain when I turn on my right side to sleep. Pain is short in duration, about 20 seconds, but fairly sharp. Happens to a lesser degree if I turn on my left side. Pain is sharper if I breath deep. But it goes away each time quickly.
Also feel pain if I sneeze hard at any time, not just lying down.
Dr is uncertain what it could be unless I am just slow in healing from the surgery. Ultrasound didn't show anything.
I would ask if anyone on the board has ideas.....
Interesting. In the literature, the symptoms of myocardial bridge seem to be more heart-oriented, in that the discomfort is described as similar to that of a classic MI, with chest pain and pressure, left arm or left jaw pain, and excessive fatigue, whereas you describe a 'flash' of chest pain and then your legs fail or run out of gas. I assume you're referring to a symmetrical leg weakness?
I started having constant headache 2hrs after a chemical inhalation (duration~30min). It has been 1.5month but I am still having 24x7 headache. I am having pressing-type pain in the Forehead and both temples and bruise type pain on the top (like I have been hurt there). My CT scan and CBC came normal. I never had any health issues before. No headache history. Any suggestions what could have been wrong and how to diagnose? Thanks very much.

its been about 5 days and my areas that were treated still look like inflammed red/purple scabs with ZERO SIGN OF IMPROVEMENT. VERY UGLY. Im gonna start putting neosporin on them today... one kinda hurts but the pain is not bad... just the sight! dont want horrible scars :( .. kinda wish i woulda just stuck with the lil warts.
This might be a TMI for few but a night I have horrible gas pain that just won't go away n I get constipated . is there a way to relive everything without taking something ? Our do I need to take something?
Having some pain in my upper abdomen right under my ribs. How can you tell if it's gas pain or something serious? I'm burping a lot and have been slightly constipated for the past 2 days, sorry for the over share, so I'm thinking it's gas pain. I just don't want to write it off if it could be something to be concerned about.

How much water do you consume on an average day?
Can you describe the pain? Such as does it come in patterns? Sharp and stabbing pain? Duration?
m fine chasing it. its not even helping my pain anymore. My normal day dosage ended up being up to 120Mg a day of norco. It wasn't phasing me, even at that massive dosage. My question is, how long will the actually physical symptoms of withdrawal last? I'm aware that the mental part takes as forever, I'll always be an addict. But this physical stuff is kicking my *** big time.
( i have also been constipated and gassy ) i am in SO much pain and discomfort. I feel like killing myself. I dont know what else to do or where to go. Might it be possible that it is a variety of infections/utis or stds that cause some of this? Because it has been ongoing for a lonh long time. Even my sleep / life is disrupted. Any point to the right direction or medical professional would help sooo much. Please !!
So vomiting does help stop the arrhythmia. Not that you want to vomit every time you have this but at least we know it responds to vagal maneuvers of some kind. Have you tried the Valsalva? You take a deep breath, hold it and then bear down like you're going to the bathroom. Hold that for about 10 seconds and then slowly release your breath. I've used that for years and it helped a lot. Occasionally I'd have to do it 2 times. Just don't wait for 1/2 hour to try it.

I've had my menstruation since June 18 ,2014 it now July 19 and it's still flowing. I've always had irregular periods but never gone this far as to lasting so long. I went to the e.r and all they diagnosed me with was "abdominal pain " and was prescribed "Hydrocodone ". What should I do? I'm getting really worried. I have no children but do have a fiance Thank God he's patient with me.
Diarrhea, excessive gas and bloating have subsided. Still suffering chronic nausea for 34 days. Nausea ranges in intensity from queasiness to full-fledged nausea. Food does not seem to hurt or help. Worst in morning into early afternoon, less intense in evenings. Not dizzy. Motion does not affect.
Dr. who is a friend of the family suggested I try 14 day cycle of Omeprazole. I am on the 5th day of 20mg/day with no changes.
