Avatar f tn I am 29 year old male. I have a problem of frequent bloating. I spend lot of time to clear my bowel. I don't feel constipated but I feel as if gas is causing obstruction. When gas is out the motion is good and in sometime it stops and I need to wait for another pocket of gas to be out. This way I need to spend a lot of time to clear my bowel. In some days when am unable to clear my bowel completely i feel bloated and uncomfortable with flatulence.
Avatar f tn I suffered vile sulphuric belches, vomiting and diarrhea on several occasions. It seemed to get worse each time and take longer to feel "human" after each episode. I couldn't figure out what was causing this, until I noted the only thing I'd eaten that was different from my regular diet was some Oreo cookies. I couldn't be sure that was the cause, until I ate some Oreo cookies covered with chocolate mint frosting at my daughter's home.
Avatar f tn it gave me vomiting etc..
Avatar f tn The diarrhea never came, neither did vomiting, but I suddenly felt like a gas bubble was trapped in my lower right side. I took some gas medicine, but it continued for a few hours until it turned into some of the worst uterine cramps I've ever had! Worse than menstrual cramps, and reminded me of when I was experiencing contractions from labor. The pain radiated to my lower back also. The pain has been off and on for a whole week now, with some days being better than others.
Avatar f tn Also, try not to eat fast because you can unintentionally swallow a lot of air causing the gas and discomfort. If there are certain foods that seem to worsen your symptoms, try to avoid them for now. You should also talk to your doctor about getting a prescription for anti-nausea medicine like Zofran. You can take a dose at night which will help alleviate the nausea. They may also suggest pepcid to help with the gas/reflux.
Avatar n tn My doctor said I had acid reflux and a vitamin b12 deffecincy but the medication seemed to worsen my symptoms making me vomit a lot more ( a lot more bile and also foam even making it come up my throat without vomiting) and feel nauseus almost everyday so I took myself off of it. I don't believe that I have reflux because I can never feel the acid coming up my throat except when I was taking this medication. I also am always tired no matter how much sleep I have.
Avatar n tn s almost like the gas moves to my chest when I lay down for bed (even after waiting 3 hours after eating) causing lots of pressure along with heartburn. Which wakes me up at night, causing diarrhea and a little vomiting too. This has been nothing like my last pregnancy with my son(he's 2). I almost have to sleep in the guest bedroom to prevent disturbing my husband at night with all the bathroom trips, please help!!!
Avatar m tn Last night, I awoke with serious gas, so much so I felt like vomiting, started sweating all over, got real wet, and then after defecating a fair amount of loose material, I felt relief. That was an exception, but very alarming. So far, no Doc has given me a decent diagnosis, and I have been through nearly all of the GERD type medicines, both prescription and over the counter without relief. Avatar n tn Hello, Sometimes severe coughing can lead to vomiting. There are many causes of nausea. Stress, medications, reflux disease, gastritis, hepatitis, migraine; CNS causes are few conditions presenting wit nausea and headache. The presence of associated symptoms and clinical examination findings may be important for correct diagnosis and treatment. It is possible that GERD is causing acid and food to reflux back. You will need antacids and medications for your cough. Take light food.
Avatar n tn There are some bacteria in the gut that produce hydrogen sulfide gas. Sometimes this gas is produced in such huge quantities that the sulfide oxidase enzyme in the wall of the gut is not able to oxidize all of it and convert it to thiosulfate. This gas has a smell of rotten eggs. You need to cut down food items that contain sulfites. Most of this gas comes from sulfites a person consumes, which is a part of all preservatives.
Avatar m tn For the last 3 days I've been having burping constantly. Sometimes it feels like there's something blocked in my throat not letting the gas out and my stomach also feels very odd like its churning. I'm scared of vomiting and when I feel a burp coming I'm worried I'm going to bring up food. I don't know what's causing it? It doesn't matter if I've eaten or not. There's just constantly something coming up my throat like I need to burp.
Avatar m tn I realize that abdominal bloating and gas are very common complaints. But am very concerned, somewhat anxious and getting depressed, so am seeking any guidance or information that anyone in this forum has to offer. Developed abdominal bloating, gas, and burning sensation in the navel area about 3.5 weeks ago. No nausea, fever, vomiting, but constipation. Went to ER a few days later. Abdominal and chest xrays, urinalysis, blood work, abdominal ultrasound were all normal at that time.
Avatar m tn I would love to feel normal again but it seems like I can hardly ever go a day without feeling sick with either nasea and vomiting, gas pains with belching, or severe stomach pains. Its horrible. I do feel symapthy for you I hate it when I feel naseated and vomit since you do it on a reglar basis the doctors need to figure out whats causing you to constantly throw up or give you some medicen that will help. Im still waiting for a medicen that will for me. Goodluck!
Avatar m tn I have a gallbladder stone deduct in ultrasound but there is no any symptom , no pain , no vomiting tendency , no Nausea only digestive disorder and gas problem , please suggest it is required to operate of gallstone ?
Avatar m tn This pain could also be acidity, gas or heart burn. The intestinal gas can cause difficulty in breathing, tightening of chest wall causing pain chest. If these above cardiac symptoms are absent, it could be acidity, gas, or heartburn. You need to consult a physician with these concerns. Rule out anxiety also. Take care.
Avatar f tn I have been vomiting on and off for nearly a year sometimes it is in the evening a couple of times and other times its all day for a week I only get a week off now and the. Avatar f tn When your pregnant your muscles relax internally also. It allows extra things to pass through that you could normally hold. That's why vomiting and gas is so easy. Not stress we are all doing it. Diet can help but your still going to have a tendency to.

Avatar m tn I have had a lot of gas but no cramping or vomiting...My lastest ct scan shows that I have a little fluid (ascites) in my abdomen area that could be causing my gas problem.
Avatar f tn Discomfort in the chest like heartburn and also in the middle of the back? Is it gas?'if so what can I do to get relief?
973741 tn?1342342773 s not my understanding of how the body tries to get rid of acid. I mean, it causes gas and flatulence and sometimes diarrhea, but not vomiting, as far as I know. My long-term use of meds and my recent attempt to fix a hip problem with ibuprofen which I had to take Prilosec with to avoid problems has left me with a lot of digestive problems, mostly gas. So I know acid and what it does, and it isn't vomiting, at least in my experience, it's sitting on the pot. If you get my, uh, drift.
