I am 18 an year old female and for the past week or two, I have been having chest pains in both the left and right sides of my chest. Along with the pain, there is a tightness and pressure within my chest and it is very uncomfortable. Yesterday, my heart began beating very fast and very hard. This feeling is very uncomfortable and will not subside. Are these signs of a heart attack or heart condition?? And if so, what should I do?

Your first test should be breath test for H. pylori, which are in the stomach. Candida is in the colon, so when that emulsion, you drink, comes into the colon, candida eats it the same way as H. pylori, and produce gas again. I'm not sure if both microbes can be checked at the same time, but you can ask before the test. Also: producing of gas in colon in this test doesn't exactly mean, it's candida, it may be some other microbe. Diagnosing of candida is hard.

I feel bloated most times and have pressure in center of chest and throat. Pressure feels like i need to burp but i cant. I have an ultrasound tomorrow on my stomach and an xray on my chest as well as bloodwork. Im so nervouse something terribly might be wrong. Im 25 now and been having this off and on since 17. I know this is an old post but I just wanted to add my experience for people that might read this thread now. My problem is GERD causing that throat/chest tightness. I checked my thyroid first but everything is fine, then had an endoscopy and sure enough I have esophagitis (spelling?) from GERD. I am taking lanzoprazol but it sometimes works, sometime it doesn`t. Hopefully I'll find a definitive treatment.

ve started to get flutters in the middle of my chest more to the right (above my heart) that feel like a rolled up piece of paper is being scrunched in my chest or a butterfly trying to move around and it's uncomfortable. But like, today, I got a really REALLY sharp pain on my right side, followed by a tightness in my throat... then like, the pain traveled up the left side of my neck to my ear, but that pain wasn't that bad, it was more annoying than painful... but the sharp pain on the right side of my chest was really uncomfortable. It lasted for about a good minute, but now, like 15 minutes later, I still kinda got that uneasy tightness in my throat, and a minor head ache.

tall and currently weight about 130lbs. For the past 3-4yrs I have been having tightness in my chest (on the left side, in the region surrounding the heart). i do get alot of chest discomfort and tightness but when i go to the doctor / hospital my bloods come back fine along with my blood pressure (130/80) and the ecg shows normal. I have come to the conclusion that i must have some sort of digestive issue that could be causing this?

thanks for your comment i went to a chest doctor (i suspected its a respiratory problem ) .. she put the stethoscope on my chest and back several times listening to my lung sounds and she told me that there is no problem with my lungs and its a stress or anxiety and prescribed Motival 1 tablet at night ....

I'm currently on the triple therapy with incivek. I'm taking my 4th shot tomorrow. For the past three days I've had a tightness in the middle of my chest right under my breast bone/above my stomach. For a week, I have had tightness in my chest. It doesn't hurt, just a constant tight feeling. I have no problems breathing or swallowing. I have been having back muscle stiffness, and overall muscle tingling. For the past two months I have had major sinus drainage from allergies.
