Shingles causes pain like that, but there should be blisters. Costochondritis is extremely painful even though it's just inflammation of the cartilage between the ribs. I suppose it could be a pinched nerve. These are just thoughts. You ought to see a doctor.

It is probably gas and will go away on its own. If the pain stays more than a few days or if it gets worse, you should go see your doctor.

on a 1-10 scale tha pain can b as bad as an 8 but normally its a 5...... the pain stays in the same spot and its located right next to my hip bone.....it feels like im getting poked with sharp objects..... plus idk if this may have anything to do with it, but, ive been getting nauseated and sick all the time feeling but no puking.and my stomach flutters alot, and have excess gas at times..plus not too mention constipation all the time. my constipation tho, has calmed down alot..

Im 26 and started having chest pain in my sternum area i thought i was having a heart attack but a few days later now im coughing and trying to clear my throught kinda feels like im getting a cold.

I have extreme pain in my hips and back and have been having hip pain for 2 days back pain off and on for weeks but these past two days my lower back hurts all day extremely bad.

Im aware of discomfort due to no room in cavity, but still having dull pain and what I call occasional biting or itching feeling. Plus have pain in inner right hip especially when I cough. I also have periods when my abdomen feels warm not burning like gas but noticeably warm feeling. I don't believe things have gotten worse but I was hoping would notice some improvement.

I also have hip pain but I'm not nearly as far along as you. Curious to see how to relieve it. It's in both of my hips and I haven't been laying on them.

The Methadone I take for my back pain does not help this hip pain at all!I do have a diagnostic back injection scheduled this next week for the L-4-L-5 and S-1 area, what I think is allso called a diagnostic l4-l5-s-1 medial branch block. to see if this triggers pain. My question : Is the dr. trying to mimic the pain I expereince , hoping that an injection in this area ( if one of the correct areas) will show the same pain I have when doing things such as bending etc.?

I had an xray of my pelvis recently because I'm having a dull aching hip pain for a year or two, but it has gotten worse. Also my hips pop and crack daily,,, Radiologist wrote xray was normal, but I think I see a tumor or two on both sides of my pelvis, the circular dark spots... please let me know what you guys think. I have a quick question, for the last few weeks when walking my left hip and thigh get such a charlie horse in them that it causes me to stop walking and the leg draws up and i have to bend forward. The Epidural Lumber Steroid Injections have greatly reduced back and hip pain. My feet still burn almost all the time. It is painful and so far no one has been able to answer the question as to why. All I hear from physicians is "This makes no sense". I will keep you posted if I discover anything that helps this problem.

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your hip pain/ discomfort. Possible causes that may need to be considered include infections/ inflammations, bursitis, tendonitis, arthritis, capsulitis, ligament/ tendon tears, growths/ tumours, nerve impingement, avascular necrosis, injuries/ fractures etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician or an orthopedician for a detailed evaluation.

I am currently in physical therapy to relieve ongoing hip pain. For years I have pain that builds up in my hips, however, when I pop my hips, the pain subsides. Is there a logical explaination for this? My Physical Therapist says that it does not make sense that I would get relief from pain......but I do. Is this all in my head? My current age is 45 and I am much more active than the average person. Any info you can provide would be helpful.

it sounds like you have bursitis. Arthritic hip pain usually gives you groin pain, not lateral hip pain, worse when laying on it. I'd go to the doctor and ease your mind.

ve had some pain in my upper left and right chest area at different times and not lasting long. The pain is not bad and it doesn't last long and it is usually accompanied with belching or gas. I also have a history of asthma too. Any idea of what might be causing this pain since initial test seem to rule out cardiac problems. No one in my family has a history of cardiac problems either.

The pain lessens as time goes on, but always have that ballon like feeling in the gallbladder region. I also get terrible shooting nerve type pain that goes from my navel over to my hip and shooting pain from the other incesions areas. Pain is always much worse after eating. Hey ladies this momma can't sleep. Anyway I was wondeing if any one else has experienced horrible hip pain. If I'm laying down and try to roll over I am in a crazy amount of pain, even getting up from laying down causes a lot of pain. Has anyone experienced this? What can I do? Also, will this be an issue when I'm trying to deliver, if so I think I'm gonna need meds. Which is a bummer because I wanted to do it naturally.
