So today my Celexa dose was upped from half a pill to 1 whole pill and the side effects are coming back like when I first started... Sweaty, can't sleep, headache, stiff neck, clenching teeth... Etc. I have been prescribed Gabapentin and found the drug to have serious side effects. It significantly degrades intellectual ability, for one, affects judgement (adversely), and makes driving dangerous. It is also addictive. It also doesn't do much to relieve pain. Under certain circumstances it can precipitate seizures. Then it causes headaches. And difficulty breathing.. I just stopped it cold. I would never take it again.

Trileptal is a newer drug than Tegretol (carbamazapine) and is supposed to have less side effects than Tegretol. I also know (through googling many different medications) that each time you adjust the dosage, that your body can have side effects. The side effects should get better as your body adjusts, but if they don't, you should definitely talk to your doctor about it.
