198419 tn?1360245956 Okay, this one I just thought was kinda funny (considering my cracked sense of humor) from my well loved local Neuro guy.......... When I first went to the neurologist, and hadn't received my prison sentence, uh...I mean...MS diagnosis..........(which beats the heck out of prison if you ask me, with my luck I'd wind up in a cell with a girl with facial hair and a penchant for canes.........) I asked the Neuro, do you think I should get a handicap sign for my car?
Avatar f tn That pain I have felt before. It might just be constipation, and eating more fiber will help, may I say that hot dogs are one of the worst things for you? They're fine once in awhile but more than one a week is too many. Well seeing that your droping weight fast can cause periods to be lost. It's might not be that and missing a period ussaly dosent mean anything. Although if you don't get it again then you have lost it. Don't feel bad about that.
579258 tn?1250652943 I saw my PC today and he wanted to put me on meds for weight loss. I am not on any meds for hashimotos...had 6 month US Friday- no results yet.I NEED to do something...I just don't know what.
Avatar n tn A 2013 study published in the journal International Scholarly Research Notices Psychiatry found that among overweight or obese adults, those who were randomly selected for a four-week EFT treatment group experienced weight loss, fewer food cravings and more restraint over eating as well as a significant decrease in depression one year later.
579258 tn?1250652943 For me, it has been a banner week in the weight loss. Am down 4 lbs but would not recommend the process to do so. Did watch what I ate very closely and the vision of tutu boy dancing his little heart out kept me on the straight and narrow. The stress of sorting through Michael's things and pulling out cards and sentimental things and returning them to the respective "givers" has been difficult and lowered my appetite.
Avatar n tn wrong again. google anything on this topic and you get all sorts of positive and negative. even you moronic posts will come up. google "the #1 thing in weight loss" and see what happens.
Avatar f tn Dave....you should know that when you take one of us on, you take the whole forum on, and some of us have a background in diabetes and Clinical Research. So we know how to read studies. You are basically quoting studies done on some of the ingredients contained in Diab-X, but no human studies done on the product itself. Let's look at one of the claims made about Diab-X. The website says it..... "Reduces weight regain after weight loss in animals.".....
620923 tn?1452919248 I think it is great when they make you do all sorts of funny nuro-test things like touching your nose ect. and then procede to tell you the only symptom of Chiari is headaches! Why in the world did you make me do all those things then?? Or "you need to go home and go on an agressive weight loss program. That will take care of your Chiari malformation." One asked if I had done research online.
Avatar f tn I had to read your post three times before I decided to respond to your post........ extreme pain can do funny things to people....... a lot of heavy duty drugs can also do funny things to people....... Mental disease can also do funny things to people.... My opinion is she has the whole trifecta............... Has she been seen by a counselor? What bothers me is that a five year old may not understand what is going on with her mother.......
Avatar n tn The combination works best for me, Armour made me gain weight. Every BODY is different.
329950 tn?1194801117 a few instances of scalp hair loss. In children, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, weight loss during prolonged therapy, insomnia, and tachycardia may occur more frequently; however, any of the other adverse reactions listed above may also occur. Not so harmless is it? BTW despite what anyone tells you Ritalin is not approved for under 6 year olds, any doctor prescribing to this age group is taking a dangerous step as it has not been tested or monitored.
Avatar f tn I have such fine, thin hair, which I keep cut short in a sort of pixie cut so have not noticed that. ALL who had/have hair loss, say that it came back/is coming back healthy by about 4 months post tx. Skin: The redness and itching might respond to a good lotion, or a medicated lotion. I use Gold Bond Medicated Lotion, in the green bottle and it works for me. Others have used the oatmeal baths and that helped them.
Avatar n tn The last line was deleted on my orginal question. It was...
Avatar m tn By the way, does it make sense that my lymph nodes are swollen around my neck? I'm assuming my loss of appetite has to do with my anxiety. Thanks to you both again for your good hearts and attention.
Avatar m tn Its true you never reported anemia, or losing your hair, or severe fatigue or weight loss or any of those frequently seen on tx. But I remember you had some psychiatric side effects, and you discussed them here while they were happening. Its great that you choose carefully what you eat and drink. Its also great that you did not suffer anemia and whatnot. And I hope you feel better every day and that you get SVR.
495284 tn?1333897642 May the Creator hold you close IBK.. Your sound advice has helped so may to achieve sobriety You have left a Wonderful legacy. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring so much.. I will miss you Friend.
Avatar n tn I'd stayed pretty faithful to the weight watchers style of eating since going on it years ago to lose weight, and it's not high-protein per se, but it definitely doesn't allow you to go overboard on carbs. (If you're looking for ways to re-invent recipes toward lower simple carbs, higher-fiber, leaner fats, and including more veggies, HungryGirl is awesome. I don't get paid to advertise her website/books, LOL.
Avatar n tn I've just recently noticed the elbow thing and am FREAKED OUT! I do believe it's related to hormones but could also be illness and weight loss... But the good news is that I do find that my hands really respond when I moisturize and - a big help - use gloves when I wash dishes. The other thing is I recently lost a bunch of weight too, and that's when I noticed the skin on my elbows. I think at least some of the problem is from the weight loss, which makes some sense.
865758 tn?1285956504 thank goodness. that has to be a big weight lifted off your shoulders. it's funny that when you look up hypothyroidism, it says it's easily treatable. now that i've gone through this and have read about what others are going through, i find that statement to undermine and trivialize the condition. it bothers me a little. hopefully these new labs will shed some light on what's going on (free t3) so that you can get better soon.
612876 tn?1355518095 to spend time with family and give Mr. McDreamy a break a couple of times a year. The funny thing is, he says he misses me when I'm gone. I really couldn't be luckier. I just need to make sure he KNOWS that I think he's the cat's meow, and I realize that it's not everyday you find someone who will stick it out in a relationship under as much stress as ours has had to endure. Thanks again for your input on this.
Avatar f tn I don't know if you remember my story, but I tore in just about every direction and had to be transferred to the OR with the doctor kneeling between my legs on the bed sewing as we went because I was losing so much blood (the blood loss was due to something wrong with me, the tear wasn't life-threatening but for some reason I bled out and almost died...so don't worry about tearing, MOST tears aren't as dramatic as mine was, even if they are as severe)...
Avatar n tn I was thinking that part of it is water weight loss from the dehydration we have...although we are drinking tons of water and fluids we really only "rent" them. I mean I wake up a couple times a night from drinking all day but still I am as dry as can be. Since all my clothes look like they belong to somebody else now and I have to pin everything to make it smaller though...it's not ONLY water weight I suppose.
1202943 tn?1347844252 Pickel, but he was not able to help me, but he did do extensive testing, this is how I found I have TSH antibodies. I too have hair loss, low energy, and weight problems.
Avatar n tn possible death...but what else? hair loss???weight gain???what. I guess I want to be convinced what I am doing is truly a deteriorating thing...I like the feeling I get when I take a vicodin. Is that soooo bad?
253566 tn?1219683299 In second appt she couldnt remember saying those quotes??? I have two excellent local GPs. So screw the Liver Gurus... They both agree that treatment is messing up a certtain percentage and they see them regularly when the gurus dont know what is going on in the field. One of the GPs is trained in research med so he is always thinking what to test for outside the box. The other had Hep B and two transplants and an old interferon. His wife had C and treated same as me.
127596 tn?1210926222 As mentioned in my last post, the weight loss seems to be what rid my back cleavage of its huge zit. It hasn't reared its ugly head. Butt I strongly urge anyone with this problem to go see a doctor. Seriously. In other news, my back pain has increased lately. I'm saving up for an MRI, and will hopefully get it soon. Hopefully it'll be funny, and I can post about it here.
1069625 tn?1262643124 loss of appetite weight loss fever general aching tiredness. Other early symptoms may include: itching hives painful joints a loss of taste for cigarettes if you are a smoker.
Avatar n tn Ok, maybe someone can give me a little insight into what to look for. I have had pain under might right ribs extending into my back at times for three weeks. A little stomach upset, but only mild - no vomiting - a little loose stool which fiber helps.
Avatar f tn So true, but that only counts when numbers are close which is usually the case with the big elections when turnout is 50% or less, if the numbers would hit 80% plus they would be hard pressed to rig the numbers (not that I am a firm believer in the rigging), you know what's funny is all the people who call Bush an idiot and then in the next breath think he is smart enough to put together voter fraud scams, conspire to take out the twin towers, conspire to grab all the oil for his buddies etc...
