Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.

Avatar n tn You should also assume that you need Vitamin D, as most hypothyroid patients do, and start taking Vitamin D3 supplements. I would also suggest that in view of your burning/tingling feet, that you should also take some B12 daily, along with some magnesium. The magnesium that I take is magnesium glycinate, available at the Vitamin Shoppe and other places.
Avatar f tn Hyperparathyroidism is one of several endocrine disorders that could explain your symptoms. Also possible is a food allergy/sensitivity, perhaps from something that sneaks in as an ingredient in prepared foods you eat. To correct a few points in Bama_Lori's otherwise useful info, eggs are not a good source of calcium or vitamin D. And if you have reactive hypoglycemia, orange juice is not going to be useful.
Avatar f tn I am a 40 year old woman with the problem of frequent urination. I do not have diabetes or UTI and my ultrasound scan is normal. I underwent a D&C procedure in December of 2007. My urologist thinks that I should see a psychiatrist. I have a bulky uterus. I was 200 lbs three years ago, now I am 125 lbs, (through diet and excercise). My gynec told me that I have over-exercised,(walking 14 km a day). I feel constant irritation and pressure in my bladder.

At my lowest vitamin D level (12ng/mL or 30nmol/L) i had bronchitis (3 weeks), severe strep throat twice (1 month and anthor bout over 2 weeks) and a cold (1 week). All in less than 6 months.
Avatar f tn m tired a lot and have frequent urination with urgency. My lastest blood work= HDL 39, Vitamin D low less than 20 and also B12 on the low side. My doctor was not alarmed and recommended vitamin supplement and excerise. I am so upset can someone please tell me how these results relate?
Avatar n tn For the last 3 mths I've had many symptoms. I've had the following, tingling parts of the body, pins and needles, muscle spasms/cramps, heaviness, veritgo, visual floaters, neck and shoulder stifness. All bloodwork and MRIs (brain and cervical spine) were normal, well I was told I have a stiff neck and I'm now going to therapy for that. But for the last month or so I've had difficulty falling asleep.
Avatar f tn I live in the northeast, so I don't get enough vitamin d from the sun much of the year, but I supplement daily (and have for years and years) and eat lots of d-fortiifed foods. I'm only in my mid 30s (female, 5'4" 115 lbs). For several years I have battled unexplained severe fatigue, cognitive/memory issues, periods extreme weakness of muscles (without exertion) - especially upper arms and upper legs, unexplained frequent urination, etc.
Avatar f tn You should start by getting full bloodwork done, especially B12, Vitamin D, folate and others.( I had a vitamin deficiency - B12 and vitamin D, that suddenly made me react to milk and eggs) That will give an idea of what's going on. And please don't just take your Doctors word, that they all look in range. The problem with Doctors is, that they don't react to a low level, you are just either out of range, or in range.
Avatar n tn Hi I recently bought a 600mg calcium with vitamin D, becaue I was told by my dentist that I had decalcification shown on my teeth. And that was the reason I bought them. But now Im scared cause My older sister told me it is very bad to take too much calcium and now I've stopped taking them. I took two chewables which is 1200 mg for 5 days now im scared cause she told me that can damage my bones. Also her doctor told her that even 500mg is too much. I am an active female age 19.

Avatar f tn 3), dry skin, tired all the time, no sex drive, irregular periods, slow thinking, weight gain, etc.. Tests showed all was okay except vitamin D was almost non-existent. I began supplementing with 10,000 units/day along with 2,000 mg of calcium citrate. Two weeks later I could feel the difference. My body temp returned to normal, I began to lose weight, but my bones suddenly began aching unbelievably and the all-over tingles came back.
Avatar f tn You can experience ED if you’re vitamin D deficient, diabetic, severely stressed, not having frequent sex, or smoking too much. So, any of these things could be involved and some lifestyle tweaks can help fix it. You don't mention your age. You don't have blood pressure issues do you? Partially erect can involve that if you are older.
Avatar n tn Lifelong premature ejaculation ( I can last only 3 to 5 seconds ) Frequent bowels and loose stools Heat intolerance Excessive sweating hair loss Tiredness Depression Recently I had my blood test and I found out that I am vitamin d deficient . Avatar n tn 8 is unusual - especially because this happened after taking vitamin D (1,000 units of D3 for one month) for my low levels (18). The vitamin D came up into range after that, but the calcium went way down. Isn't that the OPPOSITE of what should happen when taking vitamin D?.
1806721 tn?1554333407 Keep supplementing the vitamin d. You could get tested for Celiac disease. That causes malabsorption and can therefore cause vitamin D deficiency. The vit D deficiency causes the hypercalcemia you described. Get some sunlight also in safe amounts. Maybe L-argimine and L-glutamine would help you like it's helped me by helping digestion. Probiotics may even help, but this is just general health support.
2013932 tn?1328257335 Frequent urination is one sign of diabetes. However, there are two types of painful urination not associated with diabetes. One kind is the burning urine/pee, the other may be a cramping or stabbing pain you feel in your lower stomach region. Associated causes are STD and/or bacterial urinary tract infection. Get off the computer you need to see a doctor for a medical evaluation and treatment.
Avatar f tn I have been feeling constantly lightheaded, nauseous, trembling along with frequent tingling pains throughout my body and frequent urination. I have done tests before and normal and can’t accept the answers because my symptoms won’t go away. I am concerned. I also have hypothyroidism and a family history of Diabetes.
Avatar m tn The most severe symptoms of hypercalcemia are nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, thirst, frequent urination, constipation, abdoinal pain, muscle weakneas, muscle pain, joint aches (and a sensation of aching bones), lethargy and fatigue. Your age can influence what symptoms you display.... The Levothyroxine can also cause fatigue, so your current fatigue could be related to either :( Have you had your calcium levels checked previously?
