Avatar n tn I am a 22 years old male from india. I am suffering from frequent (day time) urination (around 12 times in daytime only, don't wake up from sleep to urinate ) for the last 6 years. I generally have to urinate in small amounts,I feel that I am emptying my bladder everytime . My urine flow also is normal, I take little time to start urinating as the amount of urine is not much. there is no urinary leakage , i feel my pelvic floor muscles are strong enough.
Avatar f tn Vitamin B6 helped a lot. Also there is a tea that earthmomma makes that i have had friends take that has worked for them. Good luck.
Avatar f tn Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out. For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.

I also notice while taking this vitamin I experience lower back discomfort.

Avatar f tn Some immediate things - drink pedialyte to restore your electrolytes, wear SeaBands at the wrists, try the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast), separate drinking and eating by at least 30 min., eat very small meals but on a frequent basis, take 50-100 mg of vitamin B6 morning and night. If all else fails, you may need a prescription of Zofran. I had to take this from wk 9 - wk 22. I hope that you're able to conquer morning sickness alot sooner!
Avatar n tn I recently learned from reading this forum that people allergic to B-complex are usually allergic to B3 and B6. For me there is no doubt that I was reacting to B6, since I had been trying to take it separately. My symptoms went away when I stopped taking B6. Someone once asked me if I had been flushing, since niacin will make people flush. No, I had a different symptom altogether that was clearly an allergic response. Right now, the only B vitamin I'm taking is B2. So far, so good.
Avatar f tn There ARE some things that you can try though--ginger in different forms--ginger lolly pops works. Also, you can try a combination of Unisom and Vitamin B6 or just plain Vitamin B6. We usually also advise frequent small meals rather than large. IF these suggestions are not working for you, your doctor might be able to prescribe something such as phenergan or compazine for relief. Good luck!

Avatar f tn When I got really ill last October I was pretty much taking my multi b (50mg b6) and multivitamin (25mg b6) every day up until I got my b6 result a couple of weeks ago. Reading up on B6 toxicity it certainly explain alot of my symptoms (especially the neuropathy, which I had nerve conduction test for about a month ago and came up normal!). My question is, is my level considered a b6 toxicity? Has anyone had similiar levels and recovered?

Avatar f tn I have been reading the posts on Vitamin b6 toxicity. I started having the pins and needles 6 months ago. My neurologist did a B6 test and my B^ level was 1400. I take no vitamins with b6 in them only Calcium and B3. I checked to make sure there was no B6. Since then it has fluxuated with the lowest being 285. I had a blood test last week and it is back up to 1000. Do you have any ideas of what to do next. My neurologist suggested that maybe I should see a endrocronologist.

Avatar f tn Hi, Your symptoms may be suggestive of chronic ill health in the form of chronic fatigue syndrome, anaemia, deficiency of vitamins etc. Also for the pain in abdomen and frequent urination you should check out with a gynaecologist for an examination. If necessary and ultrasound scan may be done. Discuss with your Doctor. Hope this helps.
Avatar m tn You could avoid supplements that contain B6 and limit your intake of foods rich in vitamin B6, such as fortified cereal, bananas, salmon, turkey, chicken, potatoes, spinach and hazelnuts.
Avatar f tn About 3 days later I started noticing a increase in my need to urinate (because of this I started drinking more water, to be sure not to get dehydrated, which of course lead to more frequent urination ) I also started feeling a slight pain towards the tip of my penis... Not during urination but just throughout the day, I never noticed any discharge, swelling, or abdominal pain... And the frequency at which I urinate has gone back to more of a regular amount..
