Avatar m tn To provide some background, I received unprotected oral sex three days ago and since yesterday I have had frequent urination (every hour or so). No other issues are present (sores, discharge, pain, etc). Should I be concerned about this being a result of an STD or are my nerves getting the best of me? Thanks!
Avatar f tn I follow his prescription s but do not find any improvements. The rate of frequent urination is after every 1.5 hour. I have already done my ultrasound and urine infection test .

Avatar f tn Hello, From the symptoms it looks like urinary tract infection. Urinary tract (which consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and the urethra) infections are very common in young women. Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, passing of blood in urine and even fever. The most common causes of repeated UTIs are kidney stones and diabetes mellitus.
Avatar f tn It only gets worse, never got better for me. Im now 37wks and have to pee at least once almost every hour now that my baby has dropped. Its miserable!
Avatar m tn Hello, I'm confused. In the experts STD forum, someone asked about unprotected oral sex and about symptoms. Dr Hook replied by saying the risk was very low, no testing is needed and frequent urination is not a symptom of any STI but a sign of anxiety. 1. How come searches elsewhere on the internet says that oral sex can easily pass STIs such as chlymadia, gonorrhea, NGU etc 2.
154765 tn?1237251544 What does it mean when you just urinate alot every 45 min. to an hour with no other symptom...
Avatar m tn For the past three weeks I have been urinating frequently. By frequently I mean every hour on the hour. Some days I can go for 3 to 4 hours before I need to urinate, but the past few days it has worsened. When I do urinate it is always a fast flow and lots of urine. I have no pain during urination nor is it hard to urinate. This morning alone I have urinated about 4 times before I even drank anything.
Avatar n tn It seems that since then ( about 5 days) he is urinating almost every hour. He urinates small amounts. He does not have to get up during the night to go and has not had an accident in bed. He does seem to drink more often and often drinks diet colas. I have not noticed anything else abnormal.
Avatar n tn Since the surgery, I seem to produce much more urine than normal. So much so that I awaken every hour at night to urinate. Each time, I produce a LARGE amount of urine. In the morning, using a 'back of hand' pinch test, I am dehydrated. If the surgeon irritated a nerve during the operation, how long, as a rule of thumb, should I wait to see if the problem clears up? If it does not clear up, who should I visit; the surgeon, a neurologist, a urologist?
Avatar f tn On a good day I will be able to hold it so that I only go once every 1.5 to 2 hours, but sometimes I have to go every hour, and when I drink anything, if I don't sip it slowly but instead take in several ounces at one time, then I will literally go immediately (about 5 minutes after drinking) and have to go 3 times in a half hour. I now barely drink anything all day because of this. For instance, today I just finished a 16 oz bottle of water that I opened 5 hours ago.
Avatar m tn I suffer from frequent urination between 2am and 6 in the morning. This happens every half hour, lots of urine, no burning, no pain.I have had blood tests, cystoscopy and an IVP done, all came back negative. I don;t drink a lot since i never get thirsty, a cup of tea in the morning and a glass of water for my blood pressure tablets. I'm not swollen but 2yrs ago i had a back op for a pinched nerve, could this be the cause? Please help!
Avatar f tn Sometimes the urine amount looks normal but most of the time its dribbling. I frequent twice in half an hour when it dribbles. There is no blood in the urine. Most of the time it is accompanied by pain and the sensation is there even after urinating. I did not have this problem ever, I drink 8 glasses of water every day. It started about 3 months ago, then stopped for a good 2 months and now I notice the problem again.
Avatar f tn to go, I actually go...and go...and go some more. About every 30 minutes to an hour. It has progressively been getting worse. I am in my mid 20's and am healthy besides that. I have had UTI's in the past and doubt I have one for I am in no pain whatsoever, I am 115 pounds and eat healthy so I doubt diabetes, and I dont think it is overactive bladder for I read that you get an "urge" to pee but dont actually go a whole ton.
Avatar n tn Had to pee every hour for the last 4 years. The kicker is I've never had to get up at night. Have seen GP and 3 Urologist and have no answers still. Have had cystocopy, had catheter in bladder, had dye ran thru kidney and bladder, full physcial with bloodwork, urine checked 30 times. Every single test/bloodwork was normal and urine has been 100% normal every time. Have changed my diet, what I drink with no change at all.
Avatar m tn Anyways, for several months now, I have been spending most of my days in the bathroom. I have no relief after urination and am urinating at least every hour regardless of how much I drink or what I drink. I have been seeing a urologist with no results. Next, the urologist thought it could be prostate related even though his exam turned up no warning signs. I was given Uroxatrol. That also did nothing.
Avatar f tn I am a 25 year old female and for the past year or so now I have been getting sudden and frequent urges to urinate. I urinate at least once an hour and most of the time I feel like I have to go again about 15-20 minutes later. It seems to be worse when I'm laying down. I have never experienced incontinence and do not have a urinary tract infection.
Avatar m tn Isn't it true that HSV-2 can cause frequent urination? and not everyone gets ulcers, lesions, and blister? correct? If this was from hsv-2 would my symptoms last this long. going past 2 weeks of frequent urination? The STD clinic said it could be from that and my heart sank. thank you for your time and i swear i did not mean to imply that i preferred the other doctor. He just knew more about me. I apologize once again.
Avatar f tn For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid. I tend to average 50-100+ ounces of fluid a day. Usually once a day I'll have a cup of tea, but I don't drink a ton of coffee or any soda at all.
Avatar f tn For mommies, soon to be mommies, angel mommies etc. When you say that you are having or had frequent urination what exactly do you mean? Like is it ever 10 minutes? 30? An hour? & at what point is it unnoticeable and very noticeable (if that makes sense) lol. Thanks.
Avatar m tn I am suffering from frequent high volume urination both during the day and night. During the day I can go every half to three quarters of an hour and in the evening I usually go every hour on the hour. I do suffer from sleep apnea (untreated) also which leaves me exhausted every day.
