I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT!
Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
When I first noticed this stuff happening, I was leaving work because I would get really bad stomach pains and nauseous and my mouth would be so dry it would cause me to not want to eat since it would just dry up in my mouth. I also tend to get dry mouth more frequently when I talk a lot too.
Any ideas?
my symptoms are extreme fatigue, no energy, insomnia, body aches, low mood, sore neck and throat area, frequent urination and strong odour of urine, mouth ulcers, grinding teeth,headaches, flaky scalp, intolerance to heat, night sweating especially on head and neck,muscle twitches at night mainly in feet and legs, dry eyes, heavy eyes and more recently talking in my sleep..
If they ruled out any direct physical cause you could ask if some of these problems could be from anti-cholinergic side effects of some medications (the same side effects that can cause blurred vision and dry mouth). If its fully determined to be from anxiety disorder try to track when it occurs and if it worsens during anxiety attacks and discuss what the best way to handle it is with your psychiatrist.
t 18 months ago, and I have a new symptom of dry throat and mouth. Everytime I wake up my mouth and lips and throat are bone dry, so much so I can't move my mouth for a while until I take a sip of water. This has happened every night for the last 2 weeks. Also during the day I have a dry throat and a lack of saliva, although no where near as bad as at night.
Since doctors don't seem to want to help me figure out what's wrong, I'm trying to investigate my various symptoms to find potential diseases to rule out.
For the past two and a half years, I've had a problem with frequent urination. No incontinence of any kind, but I tend to pee on average 12-20 times a day. Sometimes I'll be up one or two times at night, sometimes more and sometimes not at all. I DO drink quite a bit of fluid.
Fatigue and/or drowsiness is a classic symptom of Hyperglycemia (t2 diabetes). Others are Dry mouth, Thirst, Frequent Urination, Blurry vision, Weight loss, and Increased appetite. You need to see a doctor and get tested for diabetes: an OGTT (oral glucose tolerance test), a fasting glucose test, or an A1c test. If diabetes runs in the family your chance of getting it is higher than most.
I often feel feverish, but whenever I take my temperature it is normal (98.4). I also occasionally get an itchy throat, burning eyes, dry mouth, increased thirst, and frequent urination.
On the other hand, I never sneeze, never have a runny nose, and have very little post nasal drip.
My question is can allergic rhinitis really be causing my symptoms.
- No. No i guess.. If im at home i do urinate 5 or 6 times a day but i've noticed my bladder fills up quickly at night. I dont usually wake up coz i hav to pee,but if i wake up,i hav a full bladder.
3)Thirst:- not exactly, but YES in the night. I find the area between my nose and mouth is dry severely.. Only at night but..
4)Finally this is what bothers me,sometimes black ants flock up to my urine. And thats only SOMETIMES..

My symptoms are primarily intermittent headaches, lightheadedness, vertigo, dry mouth and malaise/fatigue. I often feel as if I have a fever, but my temperature is always normal. I also have an occasional scratchy throat, dry mouth, burning eyes, increased thirst and frequent urination.
I have seen numerous doctors (Internist, ENT, neurologist and allergist).
It worries me that if my penis touched her secretions while it was still wet on my boxers or even after it dried that that may have put me at risk. 3 days later i went to get checked for std because i started having frequent urination and an overall discomfort in my penis. My test results were negative but im still have frequent urination and discomfort. Please help!
