Avatar f tn I am 30 yr old male . I have frequent urination since 2 months. KUB, urine analysis, urine culture and diabtic tests have been done. No infections were found. Avatar m tn I saw a question about frequent urination and stress. I wanted to add this comment. I was having severe frequent urination problems. I went to several doctors and even the Mayo Clinic. I was eventually diagnosed with "chronic prostatitis." Not wanting to give up because of the problems it was causing me, I looked at stress as the possible cause. I went to a psychologist for biofeedback training -- relaxation training -- and after 3 or 4 weeks my symptoms subsided.
Avatar f tn I had the worst excessive urination from low potassium. I lived in the toilet and was getting splits on my skin down there from constantly using toilet paper. I was using Savlon cream to relieve the pain. The relief of orange juice! High in potassium. Went from excessive urination to normal OVERNIGHT! Low potassium causes dry skin too btw.
Avatar m tn t it true that HSV-2 can cause frequent urination? and not everyone gets ulcers, lesions, and blister? correct? If this was from hsv-2 would my symptoms last this long. going past 2 weeks of frequent urination? The STD clinic said it could be from that and my heart sank. thank you for your time and i swear i did not mean to imply that i preferred the other doctor. He just knew more about me. I apologize once again.
Avatar n tn during those early symptoms of tingling, burning during urination and frequent urination, i was given antibiotics that was suppose to cure whatever it was causing it. well it didnt, and i suffered a lot from it. the antibiotics i took were azithromycin, oflox, cipro, and last doxy. all of them for 1 weeks 2 a days except for the azithromycin which was taken only once of 1g i believe.
Avatar f tn I have frequent urination (every hr) and burning urethra (sometimes when I am dehydrated) for 4 months now.I have gone thru 20 days of levo,20 days of cipro,1.5gm of azithromycin and finally Cystoscopy 5 weeks back. The result in cystoscopy said mild chronic cystitis.I have been taken vesicare and xatral for 40 days now.I went to see the urologist again and he said he cannot pinpoint what is the root cause yet and it should clear on its own in 1-2 months.
Avatar n tn About 2 yrs ago i had a burning sensation and other problems, i consulted a doctor and he found out i had a UTI, i took antibiotic Cipro and it improved considerably. After a short while i started having the urge to go to the bathroom a lot, most of the time only a little urine would come out. I had a check for kidney stones, there werent any. Ive seen a bunch of doctors, before my urine test used to have a little blood. Recently that has not been the case.
Avatar m tn Within the next week I started experiencing frequent urination and possibly a small amount of clear discharge. Maybe just a drip noticed before urination. But i constantly felt like i had to pee. No pain when urinating. After 12 days I took 1g azithromycin and 400mg cefixime which I got from online pharmacy. I didn't have to urinate so often after taking meds. A week later (13th July) frequent urination but only occasionally.
Avatar f tn I also went to 3 doctors after I had a frequent urination problem, all 3 ran tests and found nothing wrong. I also went to a doctor after generally feeling ill once. Again they found nothing wrong. I haven't been to the doctor regarding the hyperventilation or sleep paralysis. I do also get panic attacks sometimes. This leads me to believe all my symptoms are stress related.
Avatar m tn frequent urination (no night urination, even if I feel that my bladder is full, if I fall asleep I won't wake up until I'm supposed to); sometimes pain when I urinate (from mild to severe burning pain); shakes, nausea, cold body temperature and my face gets pale (but I guess those are caused by the Anxiety attacks cause they happen only when I'm in public and can't normally go); mild to severe kidney pains, usually severe as I said before, it stops my breathing.
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have always had fequent urination so I'm fairly immune to it as its normal for me. I do drink a fair amount of water, however I feel like my body doesn't obsorb what I drink as it seems to run right back out of me within 25 minutes. I've had my bladder tested and it empties normally and doesn't have any kind of disorder. I can drink an 8 ounce glass of water and pee 4 times within the hour from it.

Avatar m tn You only took cipro? That would cure gonorrhea, and might cure chlamydia, but its not a preferred treatment. If you come back positive for chlamydia, you should ask for azithromycin or doxycycline.
Avatar n tn Diabetes not only causes frequent urination but also numbness and tingling sensations.I would advise you to get a fasting blood sugar and Hb A1 C test done. If dibetes is ruled out then other possibilities which need to be ruled out are prostatitis(inflammation of the prostate gland),interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder syndrome, stroke and other neurological diseases, urinary incontinence, bladder cancer(rare) and bladder dysfunction . Pls consult a urologist in that case. Hope it helps.
Avatar f tn I already know I have Herpes 2, but am not back in the US so I can get on medication. I have frequent nighttime urination which is caused by the Herpes 2 ( i had done a bacteria urine test and it was negative) . I just wondered, when I get on Valtrex will it take care of the frequent urination at night or do I need to get other medication for that? Anyone out there ever experience it. I think a lot of persons come here for support, not just because they are worried they might be infected.
Avatar m tn There are many possible causes for frequent urination. eg. Do you drink a fair amount of caffeine (coffee, tea or soda pop)? A urinary tract infection (UTI) would certainly do it. A bruised uretha could do it.

Avatar n tn Back pain can have many causes that are (or are not) related to frequent urination. Back pain can be caused by physical injury, years of poor posture, skeletal misalignment, or other physical defects. Back pain can also result from urinary tract infections that spread to the kidneys and cause pain there, however you don't mention pain during urination.
