sodium at no more than 1500
mg per day. Learn to read labels. Thankfully the info is there, on the food labels; you just have to pay attention. The way I do it is to try to keep each of his three meals at 500 mg or less. Fresh/frozen produce has almost nothing, so the whole family is eating a lot more fruits & veggies. Be careful of cheese, condiments like ketchup, salsa, soy. Forget about deli meat, bacon, ham, soup, spaghetti sauce...
