Avatar f tn I work 2 jobs where I am standing all day at both jobs. I don't do both everyday but when I do it makes for a LONG painful day. My feet and back hurt after both jobs... Do I need to quit one?
Avatar f tn I already posted this in another forum but i wanted as much feed back as i can get lol....So I have had pain in the back of my heels since I found out I was pregnant but recently it's getting worse. It doesn't matte if I'm standing or sitting the pain is horrible. If I sit for more than two minutes and try to get up and walk the pain is almost unbearable! Does anyone know what this is? Any advice? Should I talk to my dr when I see her next?
Avatar f tn I have pain in my feet like I've been standing on them for a long time and I just woke up. What can I do to relieve this pain?
Avatar n tn I was diagnosed (MRI) with a nondisplaced coronally oriented fracture at the base of the second metatarsus. I have had pain and swelling on that foot since 3 years I twisted the foof but never went to doctor. I only had pain if I was standing for too long or wearing high heels. Last week when I got the report the ortho ordered 4 weeks with crutches. I am having a hard time with them so I want to know if I could use anything else, like an ace band?
Avatar f tn Excessive pronation occurs when the foot has a tendency to turn inward and stretch and pull the fascia along with it. This also causes heel pain, and because of the posture pain is also felt in hip, knee, and lower back. This can explain the pain you feel on and off and also why you fall. Please consult an orthopedic specialist regarding this. Hope this helps. Take care!

645800 tn?1466860955 Thought I would add by bit in here too and maybe we could learn by consensus, that anything goes with this MonSter - lol The pains I get in my legs are not relieved by standing but massage can help Strange buzzes and cramps and tingling in my feet are often relieved by standing However, my question to add to this is that when I have been standing for a while my left foot will go numb (thats the one that trembles too) and even moving around will not get rid of it, I have to sit and put my feet
Avatar n tn I have been getting a searing hot pain in my heal when doing push ups in the morning before running and I'm not sure what it is?
Avatar f tn For the last month or so my right calf has had a dull pain when I stand up from a kneeling position. The pain happens when the calf muscle starts to relax from standing up. The pain has gotten worse over the last few weeks and it makes it hard to stand up from a kneeling position. The pain feels like it's in the muscle. I noticed I do have some missing hair from the outside of both my calves but those bald patches have been there for about 2 years now.
Avatar f tn m still in physical therapy although coming to an end, only one week left. My problem is I still have alot of pain when walking or standing for more than a few minutes. Also numbness from the knee down but mostly on the inside of my ankle and foot into the toes. I also have tingling sensation in my foot from time to time. My biggest concern though is the severe pain in my toes. My toes ache and feel swollen and puffy although they don't really look swollen.
Avatar n tn I'm a 46 yr. old Male that's about 20lbs overweight. A few days ago i hurt my back (NO IDEA how i did this) the pain is above my right rear pocket at about the waist and get a burning sensation when i rub a lotion (like Aspir-cream or DMSO) on it then a bout 2 days ago noticed a rhythmic vibration in my right foot below my little toe (like a cat purring in 1-2 second intervals) I am diabetic but my glucose levels have been averaging around 130 for the last month.
Avatar n tn You can also try foot wear with soles designed according to pressure points. Also when you are standing keep changing the position, lift your foot off the ground for sometime and let your foot bear the body weight alternatively. If possible keep a small stool nearby on which you can rest your foot from time to time.

Avatar f tn t really have any pain walking or standing on my toes or hopping on the affected foot and there is no swelling. I can stretch and move my foot around with no pain. No pain when touching or pressing any areas. I did have a triple phase bone scan done last Friday and the results came back normal, so it appears I do not have a navicular stress fracture. Thanks again!
Avatar n tn How is the pain now? Have you seen a podiatrist? If you are still having the pain, I strongly suggest you see one soon.
Avatar m tn I am a 38 year old male and have had pain in both feet for over 3 years. The pain is less in the morning or after resting but worse when standing still. To the point where I can barely wait in a long queue as the pain is so bad. I have seen a specialist who said I have plantar faschitis but after 3-4 months of physio he has discharged me saying there is nothing he can do. Basically if I rest my feet the pain is less but as soon as I stand for any length of time the pain becomes unbearable.
Avatar f tn Sharp pain in the inside part of the bottom of your heel, which may feel like a knife sticking in the bottom of your foot .Heel pain that tends to be worse with the first few steps after awakening, when climbing stairs or when standing on tiptoe. Heel pain after long periods of standing or after getting up from a seated position Conservative treatment For most people, the condition improves within a year of beginning conservative treatment.
Avatar m tn Does anyone suffer from numbness with the pain? I started out having ball of foot pain when standing too long, that progressed to pain when walking too long, then pain everyday, now I have numbness AND pain. I have an appointment with an orthopedic doctor in April, but would love some advice on how to deal with this until then. Getting up in the morning is the worst, I just don't want to get out of bed because I know the pain will start. Any suggestions would be extremely welcome!
