2025592 tn?1348156019 but lately my right foot and sometimes left have been hurting like someone got a hammer and whacked my foot. but its not a bruised kind of pain..its every time i walk on it,..its hurts. aches etc. Should i be concerned or is it just another wonderful pregnancy related item? im debating wether to mention it to doctor.
Avatar f tn Tell the ER that you need a non-narcotic pain killer. The main thing is to get the foot taken care of. Once they put it in a cast or special shoe the pain will be minimal. But you will have to rest it for about 6 weeks. There's no way out of that, unless you want permanent damage like mine. If you don't have it fixed you'll end up with tendons snapping, knee problems etc. Go get it fixed now. Good luck.
Avatar f tn You sodium intake may have a lot to do with it. Less sodium way more water. If that doesn't help maybe change your shoes. I work for Nike and im 29weeks i had to change into "mommy" shoes once i reached 27weeks due to foot pain.
Avatar f tn t mention is the pain was dull, sharp or what part of the foot. If the pain is on the top of the foot, in the metatarsals, an arthritis etiology might be considered. Because you have the pain in other areas, I would suspect the problem may be vascular. The pain between the calf and shin plus the pain in the pelvic area points toward a vascular origin. If it were just the foot I might suggest a podiatrist, however you need a good general work-up.

2028668 tn?1329289060 I dont think that much swelling is normal. Did something possibly bite or sting you?
Avatar f tn ve been experiencing muscle cramp type pain in the middle to pinky fingers on my left hand intermittently (a few times throughout each day) which makes my left hand painful to use for a few minutes each time. The pain is only in the top of these three fingers (where the finger meets the palm down to the knuckle) and it feels like cramp but isn't helped by moving/stretching the fingers.

Avatar f tn Morning everyone. Can u plz help me. Im having severe shock pain in my left leg and foot. Its like an electrick shock that ends in my big toe. Its becoming very bad to a point i want to wet myself. Im not even that big yet im only 10w. Is this normal and what should i do?
Avatar m tn Is the pain just below your toes, kind of near the ball of your foot? Does it feel like the foot is on fire and being stabbed at the same time?
Avatar n tn Gosh, not sure. Not really heard of foot pain as part of pregnancy. However, back pain and something called sciatica is common. Sciatica is when a nerve is pinched and you feel pain radiating down your buttocks into your hamstring. I wonder if gentle stretching would help you. Take a tennis ball and roll your foot over it, stretch your calf and hamstring. See if that helps. And when you can get to your doc, talk to them.
Avatar f tn The other day I had a slight pain in my right foot. Like I pulled a muscle or something other. Last night it hurt worse. Hurt to step on it and hurt to put my shoes on. Tonight, it's so intense I want to cry. If I lift my foot up. Move my toes. Step on it. Anything it's terrible. I didn't do anything to my foot. No injuries or trama to it. I do however have server anxiety. And don't know if I should just rest it up, or rush to the doctor. -.
Avatar f tn In the morning I wake up now with sore bottoms of my feet. No sharp pains, no heel pain, just sore only on the bottom. It goes away after a few minutes, it's only when I first wake up. I'm assuming it's just poor circulation, it's not plantar fasciitis or anything else. I've had flat feet and I know what that feels like, and I wear arch support already. Has anyone else experienced this?
Avatar n tn I have a very high pain threshold but I was crying in pain and begging my dh to call an ambulance (he wouldn't wake up!!) but after about 15 mins the pain died. So 2 days ago I started to get a dull ache in the same spot, but now more localised to just below and running under my lower ribcage, and more the back than the front. It's an ache but turns in to a sharp stabbing pain when I cough or sneeze, and it's gradually getting worse.
Avatar f tn Try having ur partner rub ur back with epsom salt it took pain out of my foot lol so it should work on any part of ur body im just trying to give ideas
Avatar m tn It defiantly can not be a shin splint. This pain is just a few inches above the big toe knuckle. It's been a couple weeks with this pain in the foot. Walking barefoot in my house i feel no pain unless i press on the area then i feel a mass amount even with painkillers. If i have my cleats or runners on i feel pain all the time. I think im defiantly to young for falling arches...
