I am still having this issue...tho not like b4 as that is the case with many of my symptoms...but I had a month or more of the vibrating, now I have had a few nights of cramps in the arch of my feet. My hands tend to cramp when I hold something too long.....
Avatar f tn Foot cream rubbed on the back of my calves helped. So did soaks in hot water and showers. Get hubby to give you a leg rub. Heating pad on the legs where it hurts or a warm water bottle. Exercise helps to keep the blood flowing. Wooden massage tool. Hop something helps soon! I feel your pain! I'm going through the exact same thing right now!!
Avatar f tn have leg and foot sensations mostly in my feet it is almost like cramps when I try to relax so have to stand to try to stop the cramping sensations in my feet
Avatar m tn Usually, such muscle cramps are common in salt imbalance, circulatory problems, with certain medications, excessive cold temperature, whilst you are relaxed or resting, during or after exercise, or after sitting in an uncomfortable position. Most of the times, they are not related to any underlying disorder but needs checking out with a doctor to assess that your leg circulation and nerve supply are working appropriately.
Avatar f tn my husbands foot always cramps up after we have sex....is there a way to stop this....send me a private messege......
Avatar m tn I have been getting horrible leg cramps at night that go away but if I put my foot on a certain position or are standing it comes back just not as pain full. Any advice?
Avatar f tn Commonly cited conditions that lead to cramps include muscle fatigue, lack of proper stretching, dehydration and electrolyte imbalances. Less commonly, medications or an underlying medical disorder are the culprit. Exercising in a hot environment can lead to excessive sweating, which further contributes to dehydration. If you aren't getting enough electrolytes in your diet, particularly sodium, potassium and magnesium, that can also contribute to getting foot cramps.
Avatar f tn The cramps are either very strong or weak but repeated (I can have cramps on both legs at the same time). Foot cramps can get to 15 cramps on a row. L-carnitine had effect for one or two weeks but then came back to the same.Is this a muscle metabolic disorder? Should I look for other causes?
335728 tn?1331414412 My foot will cramp up at the bottom, and it feels like my toes are curling in toward the ball of my foot. That happens after exercise. I also get a big toe cramp where it sticks up and won't go back down - that happens at night, while I'm asleep. Wakeup call! Of course, I don't drive much any more, because I tend not to make the right decisions - I fear I'll end up having an accident. I'm not sure what to do about it.
Avatar f tn I get foot and leg and even body cramps but have had them for years due to probably the diuretic I take for edema from my cirrhosis. For me actually I seem to have fewer cramps on Harvoni but still get them occasionally Best to ask your doctor if your symptoms cause concern. Make sure you are hydrating enough it can help with the headachs.
Avatar n tn The leg cramps vary from person to person. After a week you should start to get some relief. Yes bananas do help. Also, avoid carbonated beverages. The carbonic acid in the soda pulls potassium out of your system and makes the cramps worse. Juices and water are best.
Avatar f tn He can do plantar flexion and dorsiflexion of his recovered foot. It is like pressing the foot downward and extending it upward keeping your leg straight during sitting position. He can move the foot side wards also keeping his leg straight. You have to start this only after full recovery and getting a go ahead from his orthopedician.
Avatar f tn Help the cramps keep coming back in my right calf when I barely stretching.... I'm 24 weeks ....exercises? Eating?
Avatar f tn checked in routine bloodtests so I know for a fact its low) but when i start getting leg cramps bad, i eat a bunch of bananas and the cramps go away. So I would suggest you try this. PS next time you get bad leg cramps while driving- pull over somewhere safe and walk them off, dont keep trying to drive like that, especially being a new driver! Dont want you to get in an accident!
Avatar f tn Is anyone experiencing foot cramps? My left foot keeps cramping and it hurts for days at a time. Anything to releive the pain?? Thanks in advance!
Avatar m tn I've been having constant foot cramps. Podiatrist recommended some stretches and stuff, but also suggested a thyroid test. FT3 is 3.22 (2.57-4.43) FT4 is 1.17 (0.64-1.77) TSH is 4.24 (0.27-4.2) Anti-Tg is 41.14 (1000 (<5.61) So the TSH is just a hair too high, but the anti-TPO is off the chart. Is there a thyroid problem or not? What does this mean? I've got an appointment with an endocrinologist, but I just want to get ahead of the game.
Avatar n tn They seem to happen more frequently after exercise, but he always stretches and they still come. He drinks a lot of water as well and exercises almost every day for about an hour. Sometimes they are more frequent, happening several times a week, but others times one won't happen for two or three weeks (usually once or twice a week at the minimum). What could this be? I originally thought just growing pains, but this has been happening for years. (He is almost fifteen and five foot one).
Avatar f tn Try lots of leg stretching. Move ur foot back and forth.
Avatar n tn In the past my vision would change during and after exercise. Objects would appear to be moving away. This goes away after I have rested. But in the past it only happened here and there. Now it happens after every bout of exercise. I feel that I tire unusually fast as well. I am 24 and weigh about 130 on a 5 foot 4 inch frame. I also have an unknown stomach problems that cause my nausea and pain for at around a year now.
Avatar n tn I am a Type 1 diabetic who has recently been suffering from leg, foot, toe, ankle, thigh, and even hand cramps so bad that I can hardly stand it. I get the foot and leg and ankle cramps usually in the middle of the night, and then can't sleep. It is almost a nightly occurance. My ankle sort of keeps cramping up, and then it spreads to my toes and calf. It is absolutely unbearable. I am wondering if ANYONE can tell me where to start to find out what is causing this.
Avatar n tn I am in need of exercise specifically aerobic. I have tried walking after my multiple operations for a huge DVT in my leg but the bottom of that foot swells and feels funny and painful. I have many types of top walking shoes and even foot pads installed in them but the condition persists. Before my DVT in June I was quite active and exercised regularly. Bicycle riding has the same type of negative effect. Has anyone had any success in these step climbers/air climbers?
