weeks They check the spine, heart, kidney, bladder, take measurement of babys size such as skull and I think they do crown to heel measurements rather than crown to rump. Also check foot for Club foot and measure femur bone. They do do a lot of checking but dont worry its precautionary for the most part. Theu do watch the heart beat and examine of course to make sure all os developing correctly. Its actually neat to see the babys spine and heart etc. good luck!
But the baby had the legs and feet curled up in between so it could have been the leg or foot bone. I honestly think it looked like a foot bone. I looked up pics of the girl anatomy and none of the pics I seen looked anything like what she showed us. Idk she's the tech I guess but now I gotta wait and see if my doctor will want to take out the ultrasound machine at my next appointment and see if she can get our little love to open his/her legs.
Im 22 weeks, and my doctor hasnt given me like any good pictures of the baby. Just pictures of his gender . And I always see everyone else with really good ones, even at early stages. Do you have to pay extra for those or ask him ? Please help, hes our first child and we want good ones to show to our families.

So I go in for my anatomy Scan on the 24th I'm just wondering why this one can take an hour and what there looking for and if they can tell me the gender of the baby?
In my experience, the tech/doctor really takes the time to get all the pictures to do a full anatomy check. If you want to know the gender, they really take time and make an effort to get to the right angle to see. Depending if your baby is awake or asleep, cooperative or not, your appointment can be short or very long.
My baby was not cooperative. She kept turning her back to us and was curled up like a ball. The tech took a lot of time to try different angles, and massage and push my belly.
Yes a very in depth ultrasound done about mid way through pregnancy. They will look at every body part of your baby (looking at the baby's anatomy).
I have these two ultrasound pictures of what the Tech said is a girl but it looks just like the baby's foot. The Tech said that the baby had it's feet tucked up and she could not get a look at the gender. Then she made the baby move and all of a sudden she said it is a girl. You cannot even see legs like you see in other ultrasound pictures. Plus in one picture there are 3 lines and then the other shows 4 lines.
If you haven't found out what your having then it will be your anatomy scan. Which will tell you whether it's a boy or girl. if you have had your anatomy scan then it is likely that you will only get to hear the heart beat today.
My co worker was ashamed of it and did not take any pictures of her daughter that showed her feet. I encourage you to take pictures. My mom took pictures, kept my casts. Took pictures of all my casts on me. Its really helpful. Helped me understand and I was able to show my husband. Helped him understand when I say my feet hurt I'm not being a baby. I only complain when its horrible. Some ppl don't understand what it is so I show them my baby book.

when do I get my second ultrasound and will I be able to get pictures of it? I am 9 weeks today and I had my first vaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks to confirm. Has anyone elses doctor just given you free 3D pictures? I knew my doctor was cool. But then hes like wanna play.. and im like.. uhhhm. Sure. And he started doing 3D and he was poking and playing with the baby.. it was adorable. Anyone elses doctor done that?

Yes I had my anatomy ultrasound & That was it, they told me I wasn't gonna have another one unless they find something wrong at my check ups
Going to the doctor in the morning for my anatomy scan & 20 week appt, woohoo, sooo excited, I loveeee getting to see my little man & see how he's doing & growing!! :) And in sooo glad it worked out to where my hubby gets to come (he about had to go into work tomorrow..), and also my wonderful momma & my hubby's grandma get to come with us too!! I am now having issues with part of the bottom of my foot, including the ball of my foot and all my toes except the last three. When I move my foot, it feels like it has been asleep with the tingling, like pins and needles, and I cant go without shoes on that foot, I cant wear sandals, and when I do try to go without shoes on, the heal of my foot feels like the bone is going thru my foot. When I relax of an evening, my foot has like muscle spasms.
So my first anatomy scan I was 18 weeks now I'm almost 22 weeks and I have another scan tommarow. They didn't get all the pictures of the heart they needed. So excited to see my Silas Sagain!! hopefully he is still a boy bc they didn't get a Good look at the boy parts the...
Don't worry! I went at 18 weeks for my anatomy scan and had been called back cause they needed a better look at her kidneys. If everything else came back normal, try not to worry.
I'm seeing an OBGYN he's kinda weird and maybe a little off but I see my Baby once a month with printer pictures and everything so I won't change because I love seeing my baby, and Most doctors don't do it that often or print you pictures every time
