Can't help but feel anxious today. I have 20weeks officially and getting my anatomy scan. I'm just so excited d to see my little baby but nervous. I just hope to god it is healthy and everything is ok. However, I'm not finding out about the sex because I'm having a gender reveal party on Sunday. Its going to drive me crazy! Lol.

I am now having issues with part of the bottom of my foot, including the ball of my foot and all my toes except the last three. When I move my foot, it feels like it has been asleep with the tingling, like pins and needles, and I cant go without shoes on that foot, I cant wear sandals, and when I do try to go without shoes on, the heal of my foot feels like the bone is going thru my foot. When I relax of an evening, my foot has like muscle spasms.

But the baby had the legs and feet curled up in between so it could have been the leg or foot bone. I honestly think it looked like a foot bone. The numbness is sure due to nerve compression and as the anatomy of your foot has changed with the injury. Continue your physiotherapy and you will be fine as your sensations will return back with time. Take care!

I was Diagnosed as having trapped nerves in both my hands and right foot, this followed a nerve conduction Study a few weeks ago. I was wondering if others out there have had this happen, if it is a Chiari/syringomyelia issue.

I started getting a sensation like someone was blowing hot air through my shirt onto my stomach every few seconds which progressed into my left leg and foot going numb ,tingling and burning, shooting pains throughout my leg and to my foot . I was finally diagnosed a year or so later with peripheral neuropathy and they started me on 4 600 mg gabapentin a day.

weeks They check the spine, heart, kidney, bladder, take measurement of babys size such as skull and I think they do crown to heel measurements rather than crown to rump. Also check foot for Club foot and measure femur bone. They do do a lot of checking but dont worry its precautionary for the most part. Theu do watch the heart beat and examine of course to make sure all os developing correctly. Its actually neat to see the babys spine and heart etc. good luck!

I sometime feel pain in the nerves of the foot (where boot lace is present), sometimes in the hand (back side where nerves can be seen) and sometimes in the back side of the leg. The pain is sweet pain and lasts for 1-2 seconds and disappears. When I seat in chair, sometimes I feel pain and it forces me to come out of seat or put my legs inside my buttocks to continue. I had an intial injury to my right foot in April 2010. The injury was sudden and not the product of a determined source (i.e. impact, rolling, twisting). You are correct that foot infections can be a problem for diabetics. So don't apologize, for your question is a smart one... and yes, DO watch it carefully and clean it. You also might want to avoid wearing socks or shoes on that foot (slippers will keep the wound free of other contact) so as to avoid contact between the infected area and anything that might contain other bacteria. Do go to see your doctor soon, just to be safe.

Maybe it's the approaching anatomy scan but I've all of a sudden become very anxious and stressed about the possibilities of birth abnormalities even low my chances scientifically are very low (less than .05%). Is this normal? I feel like I'm more stressed about it than I should be.

Good morning. I have had foot pain in my right foot on and off since February of 2008. When I stopped running for three months my pain disappeared but it reappeared in February of 2009. I have since had it since then and am now starting to have pain in my left foot.
