8856671 tn?1404143983 s hilarious when people do not know what they are looking at or what to look for on ultrasound pictures. Their faces be so confused (even when things are labeled) lol I get a kick out of that. Is it just us mom's who can tell what's on there?
Avatar f tn I had one at 20 weeks and don't get another until 37 weeks. Unless there's fear of a birth defect, fluid or placenta issues, etc, you probably won't get extra just from being labeled high risk. You can be labeled high risk for no other reason than being overweight. If you're worried I'd ask your doctor but I think it's probably normal.
Avatar f tn But the baby had the legs and feet curled up in between so it could have been the leg or foot bone. I honestly think it looked like a foot bone. I looked up pics of the girl anatomy and none of the pics I seen looked anything like what she showed us. Idk she's the tech I guess but now I gotta wait and see if my doctor will want to take out the ultrasound machine at my next appointment and see if she can get our little love to open his/her legs.
Avatar f tn I am 23 years old and have asked in my age group to talk with someone else whos baby has been diagnosed with club foot, but no luck. Just wondering if anyone here is going through what I am?
Avatar f tn weeks They check the spine, heart, kidney, bladder, take measurement of babys size such as skull and I think they do crown to heel measurements rather than crown to rump. Also check foot for Club foot and measure femur bone. They do do a lot of checking but dont worry its precautionary for the most part. Theu do watch the heart beat and examine of course to make sure all os developing correctly. Its actually neat to see the babys spine and heart etc. good luck!
Avatar f tn Get a diagram or labeled picture of female genital anatomy and see if you match. Please be aware that the vast majority of women do not have a hymen that completely covers the vagina. In fact, if yours did, you would not have gotten your period because the blood would not have been able to flow out. Active sports can also break your hymen long before you have any sexual activity.
Avatar f tn I am now having issues with part of the bottom of my foot, including the ball of my foot and all my toes except the last three. When I move my foot, it feels like it has been asleep with the tingling, like pins and needles, and I cant go without shoes on that foot, I cant wear sandals, and when I do try to go without shoes on, the heal of my foot feels like the bone is going thru my foot. When I relax of an evening, my foot has like muscle spasms.
Avatar m tn It doesn't necessarily mean much. Look at an anatomy chart, and you will see the uterus in the abdomen, with the wide end forward and the narrow end back, looking kind of like a diver getting ready to dive if you think of the Fallopian tubes as arms and the fimbria as hands held out behind. (It's about the size of a pear or an eggplant.) If it leans slightly to the left or right (the diver leans to the side), it gets labeled tipped or tilted.
7045779 tn?1394737965 You might not get another one til 20w for the anatomy scan, unless there's reason for concern.
Avatar n tn I had an intial injury to my right foot in April 2010. The injury was sudden and not the product of a determined source (i.e. impact, rolling, twisting). The lateral side of my foot near the 5th metatarsophalangeal joint swelled and bruised immediately. I was unable to seek medical treatment at that time so I rested my foot for 2-3 weeks and the pain dissipated and I was able to return to my usual routine.
Avatar f tn My taller baby would do that to me. It always felt like she was doing yoga in there. when I went in for anatomy scan she was sucking her toes. It's probably just baby's foot.
Avatar f tn I am 37 on baby nmbr 7. Because of my age, it was labeled high risk. I've seen the perinatologist 3 times so far. No bad news. But each time I get a sonogram. First visit was for a full anatomy scan. M3aning the check and measure all of babys vital organs and check whatever physical features they can to detect any abnormalities. So far, I've been blessed and all sonos and tests have come back with great results. I wouldn't worry myself if I were you, unless they give you reason to.
1456948 tn?1285464372 Good question - the history put down (reason for MRI) can guide the radiologists eyes but the radiologist is responsible for all images and findings. They will not stop by finding the abnormality. In fact, radiologists are trained to systematically go through all the organs and anatomy such that they don't miss anything at all - that is why incidental findings are found very commonly. The radiologist doesn't just stop looking after they find one abnormality.
Avatar f tn Hello, I have a distal fibula fracture and was wondering about how long before it'll heal. I had fallen down the stairs of my apt. after moving some stuff, missing a step, landing on right foot, and I couldn't walk afterward. The fall itself didn't hurt me, but I knew immediately my ankle was broken as it was swollen. I have some of the posts about it and it scares me that it may not unite. What is the general outlook for this type of fracture?
349463 tn?1333571576 April 3rd is my next appt. I wont have no more U/S until the Anatomy Scan which at my 16week appt she will let me no if i will have it at 18weeks or 20weeks.
Avatar f tn I have is xanax prescription that is 5 years old, every once in a great while I may take a half of one. Somewhere along the line my doctor took a blood test and it may have shown up. I didn't even think to tell my doctor about this prescription. I believe now that he has labeled me an addict is carried over to my ortho. Yesterday, my ortho called in a prescription to two different pharmacies for the same medication one through my insurance and one not.

I dont believe that i re herniated my disc but at this point no one will give me another mri to make sure or anything. the pain started on the right side which i had no pain to begin with on that side and is located in the butt.
8761100 tn?1399725825 So like it had a third foot or a foot got in the way? With both of my pregnancies it was very obvious to me on body parts.
Avatar f tn I was labeled a hypochondriac at an early age. I've always had a long list of symptoms, and no one can tell me what is wrong. I've been labeled with fibromyalgia, because they "didn't know what else to call it".
Avatar f tn So had my anatomy scan today abd baby head was down and wasnt able to find the gender anyone else went through this?
Avatar f tn So we are team green, so won't be finding out the gender till we meet this little one. I been right with our other children. I be sure this baby is another boy. But the technician right after looking at the gender for our file (we looked away) said on the next image showing us "there is her foot" .
Avatar f tn Thank goodness... I was so nervous ! I'm gonna talk more in depth with my doc tomorrow because it was my anatomy screening today. I was a decent sized baby myself almost nine pounds and so was my bf! He's six foot six and we have a boy on the way! So nervous!
Avatar f tn So I woke up this morning feeling pretty good. We had our anatomy scan at 930 and I was up at 630. Well as soon as I got out of our car at the hospital I got this horrible pain that shoots from my right hip, all the way down to my foot. Every time I move I get this pain, it's been going on for about 4 hours now... And it s ucks! Anyone else going through this? I will be 20 weeks tomorrow (half way!!!) I hope this pain goes away.
209987 tn?1451935465 The numbness is sure due to nerve compression and as the anatomy of your foot has changed with the injury. Continue your physiotherapy and you will be fine as your sensations will return back with time. Take care!
Avatar n tn Whenever I lift my feet, including when I am walking, they hang down heavily and it feels like the Tibia? (I looked at a picture of ankle/foot anatomy and based on the diagram I assume it is the Tibia) and my feet are disconnected. It sort of feels like a bruising pain. I even have trouble rotating both of my feet. Not because of the pain (even though it does hurt) but it is hard to rotate to the front.
Avatar f tn I tested this by pushing out on the foot pedal contraption with only my left leg, and I could manage that for a few inches, as it was really tired. When I tried it with my right leg, though, I could barely move at all. So, just as thought, the left leg had been doing all the work.
11458318 tn?1418766400 I passed my glucose test and my fetal anatomy scan was also normal. the drs will treat u as high risk if u have certain medical conditions that calls for it, or if u simply let them just cuz ur 35+. Since I declined, and I've also had a healthy uncomplicated pregnancy before this second one, my drs r treating me as low risk.
Avatar m tn Sorry I've been away for a while. I took human anatomy and 3 law courses this semester. I don't remember the law courses at all, anatomy is a beast. The cryo ablation worked well. It took about two months for the pain to go away. No complications. It is not a bad proceedure at all, recovery can be strange at times as everything sorts itself out but nothing to worry about if you're having it done.
