Advair® HFA (fluticasone propionate and salmeterol) is generally well tolerated by most people with asthma but more than a few side effects have been reported, especially with the dose that contains the highest amount of fluticasone. It could sometimes be due to the medication. As fluticasone propionate causes irritation of the nasal mucus membranes. Other adverse events that occurr with fluticasone propionate (with uncertain relationship to treatment) include: blood in nasal mucus, runny nose, flu-like symptoms, aches and pains, and dizziness.

It is not advisable to use the steroid cream for a long time because it has plenty of side effects. Take some antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin and apply some calamine lotion on the rash. If the symptoms persist then please get it examined from a dermatologist.

Since your panic attacks are happening less, are the headaches numerous and a reason that you cannot take the medication anymore? Or are some of the side effects okay with you now that your anxiety is much better?
What does your prescribing doctor say about this? Headaches can also be caused by an endless number of factors in my opinon. Are you getting enough sleep? Are you still under a lot of stress? The point is, that the headaches may not even be related to the medication itself.
I am on medication Monteluckast-10mg once daily, Fexofenadine-180mg once daily, Budamate rotacaps-400mg twice daily and Nasal Spray- Azelastine and FLuticasone. I have chest pain in the right side of my chest, it is like piercing something from inside and tightness in the upper part of the chest.

They told me they could not perscribe because of my melanoma diagnosis. Because this medication is a steroid they do not perscribe to patients with melanoma and I would need permission from my oncologist.
I don't understand how this nasal spray could have any effect on my melanoma diagnosis.

How are you? Medication side effects may or may not occur to patients. You were given pain medication, anti-inflammatory, antihistamine and antipsychotic/tranqulizer. You may experience gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting and sedative effects. However, it is important that any sign of allergic reaction such as difficulty of breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. twitching or tremor will warrant immediate attention. Did you taper off the vibryd or quit abruptly? You can't just switch from one medication to another even in the same class and avoid withdrawal -- these meds are not easy to stop taking and it must be done carefully. Unless you completely stop taking a medication before starting another it's impossible to tell if your symptoms are a sign you're suffering withdrawal and quit too quickly or are side effects of the new medication.
A year or so ago I finally went to an ENT, she said I had alergic rhinitis and prescribed fluticasone. 6 months later I went back because I still had constant congestion and usually a sore throat. I think the fluticasone made it a little bit better. Hard to tell. She gave me cetirizine (Zyrtec) in addition to the Fluticasone.
Together they help a little, but they also make me sleepy all the time, and I still have congestion all the time.
