the rash-like thing disappears sometimes but reappears again without specific stimulation. i had been applying fluticasone cream(which i think is a steroid cream) now and then for the past two years. the rash eases down on application of the cream. but that is never permanent disappearence and it appears again. since, fluticasone is, as much as i know, a steroid, i would like to know whether it can be replaced with some permanent treatment.

Hello there, I have been peeling and itching on the bottom of my feet for almost two years now. Yes, I have been to the doctor about this. But nothing that my doctor has told me seems to help. In the past few months I have had these tiny little bumps appear on the bottom of my feet and between my toes they also have an annoying itch as well.

I was diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis.I am washing with Sulfo-Lo soap and have tried Ala-Cort, Finacea, and Fluticasone Propionate Cream 0.05%. I have also had 30 days of Minocycline. But, nothing has worked. Please help. This is driving me crazy.

Updating this post to let know the cream prescribed by the dermatologist was Fluocinonide Cream USP, 0.05%. 2 (15)g tubes. Used that for a long period of time didn't see no changes. Thanks to everyone once again. Here is another picture from today. http://uploadpic.net/6NZZ.

hey,i have vitiligo & im useing this cream called flucinonide USP,0.05%.but it seems like its makeing my white patchs whiter & more bigger.just wondering if this cream is suppost to make the patchs to stop spreading & bring back the pigement back to normal?iv have been useing it for 2 weeks now & the doctor wants to see me back in 3 months.just dont want this cream to make it worse then it is.

I tried using Xalatan in AM rather than at nite, no change. Tried just Trusopt AM and early PM, no change. I have changed detergents, eliminated all makeups, started using Cetaphyl for face wash. A week after exposure, I saw a nurse. She was fairly unconcerned and gave me a prescription for fluticasone propionate cream. It seems to have helped. By September 10th the itching was almost gone, even when the cream had worn off. I have been putting it on my arms and legs, but not the non-itchy spots on my torso. So, the itching is pretty much gone except for a little bit on my legs. The redness comes and goes on my arms and legs. My torso has not visibly changed in well over a week.

It could sometimes be due to the medication. As fluticasone propionate causes irritation of the nasal mucus membranes. Other adverse events that occurr with fluticasone propionate (with uncertain relationship to treatment) include: blood in nasal mucus, runny nose, flu-like symptoms, aches and pains, and dizziness.
